No restaurant onsite, but they provided a shuttle to a nearby restaurant (I didn’t try this) Room had not been cleaned on arrival, reception lady was horrified and apologetic and immediately provided a key to an alternative room

Great location on the lake, with a swimming pool. Unfortunately a downpour stopped me from enjoying that - but no fault of the hotel. Bars and restaurants nearby, very comfortable room

This is an AMAZING hotel in an amazing city. The staff was wonderful and helpful. My room was very large and my bed was very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer.

location was excellent, staff friendly. the breakfast options were also great and onsite parking appreciated. Our room was small travelling with 2 large suitcases however our terrace was massive and great views over the lake and behind to the old centre. We would stay here again.

Room was a bit dated, but impact our stay in any way. Shower & bathroom a bit small, but typical of some hotel bathrooms.

We had the room with a massive terrace, even though it rained a little, we were still able to use the terrace as it was partially covered. Great location with a lovely lake view! We had an amazing stay and the terrace was worth the extra money! Staff were super friendly & helpful.

Other than the terrace, the room was very small despite being called a Jr. Suite. Breakfast was served until 10 am. We arrived at 8:45 am. We must have been the last room to breakfast. The staff followed us around and removed food from the buffet once we visited a section. (Obviously we were not allowed seconds!) Then they cleared our dishes when we were hardly done. Talk about pushing us out. That's not the service you expect from a 4 star hotel.

The number one negative aspect of this property is that management turns off the room air conditioning between the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Even though each room has its own thermostat, the management overrides that. The room became so hot and stuffy it woke us up. I called the front desk and complained and they were able to override the system but not for the entire night. Before morning it was hot and stuffy again. This happened every night we were there. When I questioned the front desk they said there was nothing they could do about it as the hotel owners had requested this course of action. Also, our bedroom was extremely small even though it was called a "suite." The pool was nice but the water was very cold, solar heaters are needed. The bar was never open and the entire place had a feel of only being partially in operation. Our conclusion was that COVID had hit them hard and they were trying to save money at every point. However, we were paying full price and expected the amenities listed on Booking.com.

Wonderful location right on the lakefront Boulevard. Very good breakfast with friendly and attentive wait staff. Our room had a terrace overlooking the lake. The terrace was very large and furnished and the highlight of our stay.

Breakfast was extremely poor for a 4 star hotel. Juice from a carton. Why with the amazing fresh fruit available? Eggs mixed with bacon, looked and smelled revolting. Why not have them separate? Not everyone eats meat. No fresh bread on both occasions. No milk for the cereal and no explanation as to how to get any. No offer of refills for coffee. Poor choice of anything healthy. No tea and coffee in the rooms Light not working in bedroom. Mentioned it at reception and got told that they knew and it was being fixed. Still not working when we left. No ironing facilities A/c on a timer so couldn’t use when needed Staff very unengaged and it feels like the hotel hasn’t moved with the times.

The location by the lake was perfect. The hotel was clean and the poolside well kept.

nothing really that would put me off from staying again. Breakfast would become repetitive after a few days but that was it.

location was perfect for both the waterside activities and the picturesque old town. The swimming pool area was attractive and the hotel was spotlessly clean the reception staff spoke good English and all the staff we met were friendly the internal style of the hotel was very traditional which should not put you off as the hotel was well maintained and very clean.
