Rooms are kinda old but not the nice kind of old. Small gestures like putting water bottles in the room would have been nice.

The wifi in our rooms was very weak and sometimes we were unable to use it.

The room had a wonderful view and you were able to see the ocean and the mountains. The breakfast was also good and the hotel was walking distance to the ferry.

This is the kind of standard you will find all over central and southern Italy unless you pay triple the room rate elsewhere (breakfast is very limited, furniture is quite old, etc.). This is a 2-star equivalent by north European standards and I expected this. However, there were some serious issues that I did not expect and must mention here: - There was no WiFi coverage inside the room at all, which was very inconvenient. - Breakfast was served in a room/terrace outside, which means you had to eat in your coat because it was very cold in the mornings in March. - Rooms look clean and cleaning staff is friendly, but they could do better - they use the same water to clean all the room, bed covers are not washed but shaken. - Air condition is controlled from reception, which means if it is too cold or too hot during the night, you can only turn it on or off by yourself.

The info of the parking wasn't really clear. I almost parked something completely wrong (next to the hotel with a sign). When I got the keys to the car park it wasn't clear it would have to be payed for afterwards. Kind of a weird service where during the day my bed was made etc. (this is normal), but in the evening someone came in again to close the bleachers, some of my stuff was moved, felt a little weird and I didn't expected that :)

Very helpful staff, good breakfast included and a nice balcony. If you go by car there's a car park down the street. You can pick up your key at the front desk and it'll cost you 15 EUR/day to park. The Lemon Trail hike starts in Maori so good place tos tay with easy access to the beach etc.

Hotel condition in general. The rooms are old and some of them are in bad condition. One of them has humidity all over the walls, we complain but they couldn't change it as the hotel was fully booked. I feel is a bit expensive 3 stars hotel, you are paying a big extra just because is Amalfi, this doesn't mean that maintenance, in general, can be improved. Rooms are on the 5 the and 6th floors and the elevator can only take 1 person. We were a group of 8 so logistics were a problem.

The location and staff are by far the best. The hotel is managed by a family, very friendly and willing to help. It is a walking distance from the ferry port that takes you to the main cities in Amalfi. It also has its own beach place (you have to pay extra for sunbeds). It has pay parking, but I strongly suggest not to use cars in Amalfi, the best way to move by far is ferry and bus.

Rooms much smaller than expected, pictures misleading. The food at the hotel was pretty awful to be completely honest although again the staff were lovely. We asked for a double bed and got two singles pushed together which was so uncomfortable as they kept sliding away from each other and had to be pushed back. Air con was super loud.

The terrace where we had breakfast was beautiful and the proximity to the beach and bus stop was very handy. Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful; and probably the biggest asset of the hotel.
