A lot of steep stairs. The flight of blue stairs needs a hand rail. Room was small with small window so barely any natural light. No views.

It was ample and food was covered. Some food not on display so this should be stated. Views from roof where breakfast is served is a lovely start to a day. Room was well cleaned. Check in was easy and queries were answered quickly. Location close to market, shops, restaurants and boat trips.

The breakfast slot was narrow, so I ended up missing it a few times. Toiletries were scarce.

Staying at Terra&Mare was a wonderful experience. The property is very well located, in a walking distance from everything in Ortigia, and free from the noise and crowds. The room was extremely comfortable and clean - most comfy bed we had in the whole trip. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful terrace from which you can overlook the port and the city. Valentina was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and we really enjoyed talking to her, learning from her experience and knowing her story. We couldn't recommend it more.

Not much to say.

Everything about this place was just perfect. The location is just a few minutes from the centro. Parking a few steps away. Actually used EasyPark to park daily. We were 2 families and booked 3 rooms. Just the right size for us. Rooms were cleaned every day, and we enjoyed our morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Our host Valentina was there every morning to make sure that all is okay. Just the nicest person. For those who don't like stairs , maybe not for you. The rooms are several flights of steps up. But really not an issue. I'd you plan to be in Ortigia , think about staying here. Perfect

I spent a whole week there, enjoying an overwhelming hospitality and an amazing breakfast in a perfect location. It’s a lot of steps to reach the place, which was no problem for me, but might be challenging if you have a heavy suitcase. I would love to come back to Terra&Mare

Just know that it's an old building with many staircases so if you are older or have mobility issues it won't be appropriate. The breakfast was a bit early, 8-9.30/10am, it could be nicer to have them a bit later for those of us who are night owls 😁

Nothing, I would highly recommend this place in Siracusa!

Location central, but also away from the busiest steets. The room (single) was spotless, had everything I needed, and was very cosy! Breakfast served on the beautiful roof terrace, where I had a chance to meet Valentina - the host. She was very kind and breakfast was delicious. My croissant was absolutely mindblowing, but I also really appreciated having boiled eggs, olives, and mushrooms offered at the table (which is not always an option in Italy).

The hike up to the rooms without an elevator. It should be disclosed that are three floors of stairs. We had to help another guest carry her luggage to her room.

There were many stairs up to the rooms in the attic which was okay but wanted to share in case that would be a problem. Also the only window was a skylight. We quickly got used to it and all of the other things completely over rode it but thought it worth a mention. Next time we would get a non attic room.

The property was in a fabulous location right near the morning street market and the waterfront, easy walk to sites and Siracusa right over the bridge. The staff was very lovely and helpful in every way. The rooftop breakfasts were delicious, both savory and sweet, lots of fresh food. When the weather was poor we got breakfast delivered to our room! The room was clean, brightly decorated. Even had a shower with a colored light show. Was very romantic.
