How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The ceiling is ridiculously low and it feels quite claustrophobic in some of the rooms.
The location is great and the place is beautifully decorated.

Small details but that make a differrnce: Air conditioner was not working, which was a bit uncomfortable as it was a hot day. Also, there was no soap/shampoo in the dispenser.
Modern room, well equiped for a short stay in Trento. Outside the busy area but close enough to make it easy to reach all the good spots by walking. The bed was super comfortable.

Very narrow lift!!
Memory foam mattress and best nights sleep we had on our Italian adventure! Close to walk into centre and main square, but in a quieter neighbourhood. Loved the little balcony and waterfall shower! Would definitely come back!

Excellent location. Was there for Trento Film Festival and location is perfect for all Festival venues. Literally five minutes walk from all. Staff was very keen on fulfilling all requests. Definitely recommended.

Location is great for exploring Trento. Apartment is small but superbly adequate and very well set up. The tiny lift made us laugh.

Parking a bit problematic, remote access check-in a bit confusing at first. Too many emails without the information I needed

Nothing at all!
It was spacious, well located, had all the essentials. The bed and mattresses were so comfortable that we never wanted to get out of the bed each day. The bathroom was extremely spacious and had bathtub and a shower. Balcony was lovely and had a nice view of the Alps. Overall top rating, will come back it we are about in TRENTO.

lighting is a bit strong on the living room and bathroom and there is no dimming or an optional cosy light fixture on the living room and bathroom.
location is great, the view is beautiful, the bed is very comfortable.

all the signs were really helpful. all our questions were immediately answered. we got most excited about the note on the sink that we could drink the water. super uncomplicated!

pillows are a bit hard found it difficult to sleep (other reviews said this which I ignored but maybe bring own pillow) price does not include pool and hot tub which was disappointing when we arrived as this is not stated online :( £250 is a lot for 2 nights without these facilities included.
really nice rooms with good view, very modern & clean- cleaners come every day with new towels! good location 10 minutes to really nice restaurants and train station.

A microwave would have been nice but, not having one did not detract from our experience.

Coffee machine needs some how to use manual. It is like 10 minus of walk from parking garage in Hi Hotels.

Flat looked way more bigger on pictures. I am taller person, soo for me it was a bit smaller, but as i said, for two days it was perfect.
Flat was equiped with perfect technology and air conditioner.

it is a room in a building, no real guesthouse and all contact with the staff was per whatsapp. no breakfast. for this, it is quite expensive. the directions given pe email for parking were false, check with google maps before parking!
the location is very good, the room was very clean, although small.

The property had an air conditioning failure during our stay. Property management promptly attempted to address the issue, but the fix required a part that needed to be ordered so the problem was not fixed during our stay. Property management opened another apartment for our use which was cooler and very much appreciated.

First time I saw kitchen without water there. Kitchen was small, for 3 persons to drink coffee, not more. One bedroom was very small, with limited climatision. The apartment can be for one night's sleeping but is definitely not for a longer stay
Location, city, food in the restaurant. Trento is a valuable city for visiting. The apartment had very easy and modern system for entering. The lift was there.
