I didn’t understand that the host did not live there, unfortunately I was late arriving and felt terrible. The only thing I would have liked would be sheer curtains at the window that let in light but not see-through, it was a very quiet street but it was rubbish collection day. It had blackout curtains, although I didn’t notice obtrusive street lighting, but I like natural light coming in.

A short walk to the centre, I found parking just outside porta Sant’Antonio, where recommended, I have parked there before as I know Sulmona. Clean, compact and perfectly functional, mini-kitchen was more than I needed, internet, tv, all great.

Not having parking space (having to look on the streets can be stressful). Only the pod option for coffee (would have liked stove top option).

Would have been nice to have a small couch or comfortable chairs in the kitchen/living room. Unfortunately, the WiFi wasn't working throughout my stay. You need to understand that you can't park by the property because it's in the old quarter. There is free parking potentially available on a road close by. An electric kettle would be nice.

Parking was not readily available and was very difficult to find. Our car was damaged the first night by another vehicle. Tourist tax was not listed in Booking.com listing, so total price in the provided confirmation differed from the final price.

The property doesn’t have air conditioning & it was 38° every day. They did have fans although it didn’t help much with the heat.

The upstairs apartment has 2 balconies each large enough for a chair to read a book. A large rooftop balcony to seat 4 or 5 people would have have made our stay even more perfect.

The host was very friendly and assisted us beyond the call of duty. An extra bed was provided to allow for an extra guest. He met us when we arrived, to share the keys and show the apartment. The apartment is spacious, very clean, very quite and situated in the centre of Sulmona with access to markets, restaurant and shops literally around the corner. The apartment is cleaned every day, with beds laid and fresh towels.

Great host and apartment room with kitchenette. We didn't have wifi or signal while driving and we were worried because we could no contact him about our exact check in time. The host was waiting for us and had a GF breakfast treat and a fan for us in the room. We were lucky to find free parking near by.

When booking the apartment, we filtered for "parking". Actually, there isn't a parking place at the apartment, but a parking house about 8 minutes walk away from the apartment.

I would suggest a small sofa in the dining area. Would have been nice to have a relaxing place to sit in the living area.

Attilio the owner was exceptional. I was visiting Sulmona due to my wife being in the local hospital after a skiing accident. Attilio was very helpful and understanding of my situation. The apartment was modern, clean and warm (snowing outside). It is close to the centre of town and would recommend to anyone wanting a simple place to stay.

Everything, the owner made us very welcome in his property and his town. He gave us lots of valuable information to enjoy our stay in Sulmona. We highly recommend this well-located, exclusive apartment to anyone who would love to experience life in a small but very safe and friendly town. We wished we could stay longer. Quite difficult to find a parking spot. I suggest the small piazza near the post office.

Apartment in the heart of Sulmona, owners were waiting with the keys when we arrived. All OK, clean and tidy. Voucher for breakfast in a nearby bar included.

Beds were awful!! Worst we’ve slept on.They were so hard and uncomfortable. I hurt my neck sleeping on the hard mattress and pillows No kettle or tea towel was a nuisance Five people were expected and there was one small couch, the apartment needs some bean bags or a few Lounge chairs for kids to sit in. Apartment felt a little sparse.
