Lovely.hotel with lovely pool

Hotel was very clean. Also great that it had a pool. There was a shuttle bus that went every hour into Sorrento town. There was also a public bus that went from right outside the hotel so it was very accessible.

The bed could be more comfortable. The wi-fi was of bad quality and it was hard to talk on the phone in the room, because of the bed signal.

Breakfast was quite, good, but the bed in the room was not very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious enough with a wonderful view to the sea. The pool was not very big, but cute.

• The AC was always on and it wouldn’t turn off if we opened the window as the hotel host recommended us. The control panel didn’t have any buttons working to change the temperature. • In our last day there wasn’t hot water for the shower. • The towels and everything were clean for sure, but they smelled old (like the towels from your grandma). But again, clean and changed everyday.

• Even if the location is a bit far away from the center, you get there by bus in 10 min. • The courtyard is beautiful if you get a room with view to that. • The staff is very nice and helpful. • There is a free shuttle bus that take you to the main area of the city and back. You just have to sync with its departure hours. • The hotel looks better than in some bad reviews I saw here. It's an old traditional place but the staff is taking care of it and you will feel good there. • Maybe the breakfast could be more variated (more fruits and veggies) but it was enough for us and it tasted very good.

Clean and big enough room with two windows and wonderful sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. Rich breakfast. In front of the hotel there is a bus station to the city center and the railway station - very comfortable. There is a nice garden and a outdoor pool in it, but I diid not use it.

The rooms were very well worn & outdated. The shower was absolutely tiny, it was very uncomfortable to try & shower in it for an average size adult. Our sheets were dirty when we arrived & also they gave us wet towels 1 of the days.

The location was good and they had a free shuttle to & from the centre. The staff were nice and helpful, the breakfast was good also.

The hotel had no where to park on site, the location was across the road in an unattended parking for beach goers, not secure! The route to Sorrento had no pathway and the hotel shuttle stopped at 9pm. The rooms fridge was unclean and not plugged in, the room and bathroom left a lot to be desired. Won’t be going back.

It was dirty. I brought up the dirty floor in the room (upon check in) hoping it would be taken care of by housekeeping; it wasn’t. There were long? Black hairs everywhere. The room was much smaller than the photos on the site lead us to believe. The room had broken furniture and one closet door missing. The bathroom window looks to have been replaced in a rush job that looked bad for a guest. There were uneven tiles on the staircase floor. The patio for breakfast (in the back area but visible from the dining room window) had string running across with aluminium foil on it or shoved into corners and a massive tray of what looked like bird feces collected on the floor.

The front desk staff were friendly and polite. There was a shuttle bus which made the journey back and forth quick and easy. The air conditioning and pool were lifesavers in the heat of July 2023

The good the room was not what we thought we were gettingn

What we were thinking we were getting was not actual. The courtesy bus only ran for a couple of times a day, the included breakfast was not great, eating in the dining room was a terrible experience the food was not very nice.

The only drawback was minor and that was the state of the towels. They were coarse and greying.

The hotel was in a great location. We had a balcony with chairs and a table overlooking the Bay of Naples. The breakfast and dinner were great. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Luigi & Claudio at the front desk, Francesco, Louis and Ricardo in the restaurant were all amazing. The hotel and our room was very clean and our bed was comfortable.

The distance from the town isn't always ideal but the help of the shuttle bus improved this factor. The location is good for nearby beaches and hidden coves which I definitely recommend visiting, within 10-15 mins walk! Would be beneficial to consider tea making facilities in the rooms also, something that most other hotels would offer.

Our room was light, airy, clean and spacious and was our 'home from home' for our week in Sorrento. The pool facilities were brilliant and we both enjoyed a daily late afternoon dip after our busy days exploring the town and coast. The staff were excellent and very kind, helping with any questions we had at the reception as well as the kind waiting staff in the restaurant every morning at breakfast. The breakfast selection is primarily cold items but this is all is needed during the hot weather, we only had dinner one night at the hotel and it was good as expected. The offer of the shuttle bus into the town throughout the day and early evening was very generous, saved us walking or paying for the public bus. We will definitely stay again!

Tiny, very uncomfortable bed with completely flat pillows. Our ‘double’ bed was two singles of different heights joined together, causing a big lump in the middle. The bed was also rock hard. Shower head was in the middle of the bath where it is most narrow, not very accessible and completely soaked the bathroom floor every time. The air conditioner buttons were missing so had no idea how to work it and which buttons to press.

Not a bad location, short drive from the main drag of Sorrento. Probably a bit far to walk.
