We had the best holiday at La Lodola. Mario and Manuela were so welcoming and friendly and really made the stay wonderful. All of Manuela’s recommendations of places to visit and eat were fantastic and their restaurant topped any other we went to with the most delicious fresh food. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to go back to this slice of heaven.

Everything was wonderful. The room was outstanding and the hostess over the top wonderful . A family Italian meal from their garden was provided first night of arrival with wonderful wine . The view from the window was beautiful and found myself enjoying it frequently. Very clean . Breakfast served outside with individual tables with linen and fresh homemade foods .

Flawless

Villa la lodola is an amazing place sitting in the hills of Tuscany! Old rustic stone house in beautiful condition, the owners are super nice and helpful! There is a big pool, nice garden, good breakfast and you can use the old restaurant kitchen which is fantastic! They also run their own gourmet restaurant and use a lot of products from their own fields! It is a short drive away! Despite the location offers amazing surroundings you will need the car to go anywhere

Everything was great!

What a fantastic find this place was! We had the most amazing experience, from Manuela messaging, to say a glass of wine will be waiting for us when we arrive. To the lovely (typical Tuscan 4 course) dinner they put on for us and other guests, as it was our first night. Manuela, Carlo & Mario, could not do enough for us! In just a few hours, we felt like we were at home with wonderful friends. The setting was beautiful, the pool was lovely & the fact everything we ate was produced on their organic farm, was second to none. The breakfast & coffee was delicious as was the homemade cake Mario baked every morning. The snacks, Manuela left us in case we were hungry along with the wine were incredible! The attention to detail was outstanding, we will most certainly be back - with others, to experience this amazing Tuscan hospitality again!

Thank you Manuela, Carlo and Mario. We had a wonderful 2 week stay at your beautiful B&B villa! The sincere attention you get from the hosts is heartwarming. They are there for you at all times. There is the possibility to use the kitchen for lunches and/or dinner. Their own restaurant is a must visit! Beautiful fresh prepared dinners with lots of ingredients from their own kitchen garden. Just delicious! Rooms are cleaned every day and even our own pillows were washed. Service wise this is the best stay we ever had!

Beautiful country home with a warm host. Impeccably clean, excellent breakfast, lovely garden. The house is beautifully appointed with historical elements and the host is very happy to share the history of the house and its contents. Whether you stay here, you must try their restaurant (husband is the chef), which is 5 min by car! Convenient location to visit the sites of Tuscany.

I liked so many things about this place, breakfast was excellent, quality of food, quality of ingredients on top level. We will remember this place forever because of the fantastic smell of morning coffee made with mocha. I can still feel the wonderful taste of the cakes Mario made. Entire villa, rooms, living room, dining room, everything breathes in unique antique atmosphere. The garden is full of trees, flowers, fruit and all kinds of plants, like a little paradise on earth. The views from the rooms, the views from the pool area are unbelievably amazing. However, all this is just a tiny fraction of the impression you will get when you meet Mario and Manuela. They took our stay to a whole new level. I am on the road every week and I really do travel a lot, but this level of hospitality is something that you rarely get to see. In fact, it's much more than hospitality. It was like being with friends or family. Tuscany is a beautiful region, but these two people have embedded their inspiration in our memories and made our visit fascinating. Thank you, Mario and Manuela, for all you have done for us, for your precious advice, for allowing us to connect with history, past and present. Thank you for allowing us to feel the culture and life of Tuscany in a way that no hotel can.
