Occasionally brief barking, but not intrusive!

Quiet contemporary home with lovely grounds. Comfortable, firm beds. The breakfast! Host permitted us to make sandwich for lunch that was very helpful as restaurants sparse where we traveled that day in the spectacular mountains (San Biagio Plantini). You need small car- will be less limiting. Beautiful grounds!

The host had been smoking in the living room downstairs when we returned from the restaurant which made the whole house smell of smoke.

The villa has a beautiful pool which we would have loved to make use of, however when we visited it was being cleaned and serviced. This would have been good to know beforehand.

The hosts were lovely and so helpful. The villa is close to the centre but far away enough to be quiet and picturesque. We also appreciated the varied and bountiful breakfast spread every morning. Their dogs were also calm and friendly.

Silvana was a wonderful host! Her home is lovely and she is so generous in sharing it. She made us a delicious cappuccino when we slept late and was super helpful with our needs as we were getting ready for the wedding we came to attend. She also helped us find a car with a driver to take us to the wedding and pick us up last minute which was hugely appreciated.

Nicolo is a really welcoming host, alert and mindful of me as his guest. Nice place, well kept and very clean. The bed was comfortable. I can only recommend you to stay here.

We loved everything about this property.

Wonderful family owned B&B with a very, very warm and welcoming hostess. This quiet location offers an oasis of calm after days of sight seeing. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is homemade, delicious, and plentiful.

Villa La Mattina is a feast for the eyes. inside it is ultra modern Italian style with many artistic elements. It is beautiful. it is clean, quiet, with comfortable beds and bedding. we had a one night stay, and it was great for recharging for the next trip to Ragusa. our host Silvana was delightful and breakfast was very good. Outside, the grounds are very nice with a pool that is open from 1 June to mid September.

Villa la Mattina was a lovely b&b offering a pleasant room with comfortable beds with a little balcony with a view of the pool (not in use when we were there- too cold!) and the town. Fantastic breakfast and my son enjoyed meeting the owners dogs. Secure parking was great and it was an easy walk into town and a short drive to the Roman villa.

Host accomodated us last minute when our other booking cancelled. Warm welcome. Comfortable bed and big bathroom. Very good breakfast. Parking at property. Would totally stay there again !!

Nothing:) Except - don't book on B00king,com - they refused to honour a discount on my other booking and denied any discount was ever offered, and refused to check their records to verify my claim. Very disappointed with their service. Use Ag0da or another booking site. (This was not the hotel's fault).

- Beautiful private house overlooking Piazza Armerina and just a 5 min walk from town, with nice grounds and even a swimming pool - Free secure parking on the property - Hosts were warm and welcoming and very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing tips. And made me the best coffee I had in Italy! - Rooms are private and quiet with everything you need, good wifi, aircon and heat - Perfect for an overnight stay after visiting Vila Romana

The hosts were amazing ! They treated us like a family. The villa is located in an excellent location closer to all the nice restaurants and city Center. The parking is inside the villa and has abundance space. The breakfast was home made. I especially loved the homemade Orange and lemon Jam. We had a good chat in the evening and was fun. Overall an excellent choice if you visit Piazza armerina.
