Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandPrice-quality relation within rooms doesn't fully add up when looking into room features and quality. We spent few nights in PREMIUM classified superior room, which was located rather high floor, on 22nd. View from the room was just amazing, but furnitures and the room itself felt more outdated and dull than luxurious/modern feeling like the hotel's mainhall gives you on first sight. The bathroom also felt more like a basic level and nothing fancy at all. Our mini-fridge was not working either and never got fixed during our stay even after mentioning about it. Lastly the soundproof of our room was quite poor, the music banging from the several floors higher skyline bar was a bit bassy. For sensitive sleepers maybe smart to bring sleeping earplugs with you! Spa is seperate corporate, that charges seperately from the hotel's room price. For one time use the price is rather high and is limited to 2,5h. This is why we took premium superior room, because it included spa usage as one time use per stayed hotel night. We both enjoyed our stay in the hotel's gym. But there was no AC whatsoever, where one obviously should be. It got very sweaty and warm through the workout. Big minus when visiting during warm season. But atleast there was a plenty of exchange workout towels, haha!
Breakfast was very good with quite okay collection, but they could add maybe few more choises. The food offered there was delicious, nevertheless. Gym was very nicely equipped to perform both, cardio and strength workouts. We enjoyed out trainings there very much. The spa was also very pleasent experience with good features: Nice saunas and pools (from finn's perspective the real sauna with throwable water especially was a top-notch!). What a lovely place to relax your tired feet and body in late afternoon after the day's walking in the city. Skyline bar in the top floor is a must visit for everyone staying in this hotel just to see the views (especially sunset times) and the food was very good up there also despite the small food menu. However, don't expect over romantic stay there as a couple during sunset, because the music in the bar goes rather up already between 21-22:00 timeline and the cosy lounge bar turns fast into rather loud bar.. Not to mention the big people groups that likes to visit the place after noon. Reserving the table by the window spot is recommended atleast a day or two beforehand.

LatviaNoise, we did clearly ask for quiet room because of infant, none of that was provided, there was party in floors above 21 and noise was quite substantial. After leaving there was queue at reception and no one from the staff informed that it was possible to leave cards without waiting. Only after we waited with 5 month young baby in line and we asked if we can leave card and everything was paid, only then staff confirmed. There were dust all over bed sidings, table, TV set shelf. Overall it was pleasure to stay but this was not pleasant for infant and his mother.

United KingdomMy room was clean, however, I noticed hair around the sink area, toilet, and the floor. Wasn't going to make a big deal about it as it's a minor issue. Also, glasses were not clean. Room 1504!
I have stayed before and as usual, the place is a good value for money, central and convenient. Night manager/auditor who was on a Saturday night/Sunday morning shift was a really nice guy! DJ and nightlife up in the Skyline was also good. I loved the vibe prices, not so much. I suppose you pay for the view and being so central. €15 for an Aperol where in town you will pay €8/9 in the Riga Old Town. However, I enjoyed the time in Raddison Blu Latvia.
