Hygienic is a topic here. Rooms were clean, shower and toilet completely clean, bed covers also fresh and clean but there is one minus, too many spiders, I know it's a forest location, it's the season, you call it, but for sure there can be more to be done in therms of cleaning, outside corridor is full of spider nets and autumn leaves in a level that it looks like if the place has been abandoned for a month. Inside room there were only two spiders, I know local people see spiders as something good, but well here was too much. More broom action is needed. Staff doesn't speak English, which if you speak the local language is not a problem, but for those who don't speak Latvian or Russian well is a trouble and this place is advertised on this international platform.

I didn't stay for breakfast so unfortunately can't rate it but the previous evening I saw how they were serving some pork dishes and it was looking amazing, I will surely go back to try their cafe. I can add that I went there to buy some beer and vodka, they have a wide variety and very fair prices. I went there with grilling intentions, rented a room and so you can go outside and use any of their 8 bungalows for grilling, each one of them has their own griller, electricity, bench, table, 6 to 10 people can easily fit. View to the lake. The place offers playground for kids, view to the lake, sauna (I guess for extra cost) They told me that they sell charcoal as well, if you need for grilling. I love grilling and will definitely come back there to enjoy grilling with view to the lake. People at reception despite not speaking English were very friendly and helpful. One reason why I chose this property over another ones is because this one is not advertised as pet friendly, and believe me, there are many of us who dislike dogs or sleeping in a bed where a dog slept before. I enjoy being in the outdoors without having someone a few meters next to me with a loud barking spoiled dog. So please keep this property as peaceful as it is and without dogs, it is perfect like this. In fact, there were two friendly cats there, this is a nicer deal ))

Friendly staff, clean room, good sound isolation. The bubble bath in suite was excellent. I recommend a boat ride if the weather is good as the lake is just beautiful. The territory was tidy and pretty. The price was fair.

Kids playground could be improved little be more!

Breakfast was very yummy and quick - especially potato pancakes (драники)! We had lovely time and highly recommend this place! Staff was very friendly and we felt a personal touch: we could ask to keep our cake and ice cream in the fridge overnight, we're given recommendations about fishing and activities!

It is a bit worn.

The lake view is nice, there are many wooden attactions in the yard. Possible to swim in the lake and have get some food at the local grill restaurant.

Pillows are small. Need to take bigger one with yourself if you need normal size pillow. Of course you can try to ask to the staff for additional one. Many people and noisy when most of rooms/camping homes are booked. Not all garbage is picked up by staff in time. There were some bottles, dirty dishes, a little bit paper in the sand etc. around teritory at least for a day. Would like to see clean environmemt around me. Some things were broken - some wood chairs around yard, fridge in the room, additional bed in the room was not usable, microwave in the kitchen did not give warm food. Old fridge in the kitchen but it worked good. TV shows 3 russian channels only.

Room was comfortable, matress was very soft, shower was good. View to the lake was nice. Place is beautiful and offers differnet activities - boat, swimming, fishing, ball games, picnic places, sauna etc. Meals in the restaurant were good. Staff is polite and nice. I liked that there was public kitchen and shower for everyone. Clean public wc was good thing as well. All rooms have balcony/terrace with table and 2-3 chairs.

The entire facility and the rooms we rented much, much more met our expectations. Yes, we spent one night in them because we needed a stop on the route. The facility is very friendly, nice, well-maintained, charming bypass around the lake, nice marina and bathing area. Rooms very clean and fragrant. I believe that the owner is going in the right direction because he invested a lot of money, which of course you can see. I recommend this property for short and long stays. Regards.

1. Recetionist woke up from his smoke only to try soeaking russian to us. No english, deutch, estonian, swedish... Just russian or maybe Lithianian, but couldn't be sure. So he handed the key showed the room and nothing else. So I couldn'tbe sure or example what is the parking policy. So I parked up front. 2. No air ventilation in the room. Only in bathroom, and that was not working There was a chance to keep windows open, but wasted locals kept so much noise that rather not. Woke up with a headache in a room of thick air. 3. I had to evict spiders from room and bathroom 4. That 12" tv did show only 5 grainy local channels, with nothing really on them. 5. I had to lock us in with a key, to keep door closed from outside. Not a dafe thing in case of an emergency. 6. The emergency plan was from 2014 and in english only guido go go out as quickly as possible. 7. Some ducktape fixes were not exactly convingsing attempts to maintain quality.

Insanely cold in the winter time, rooms were ice cold, floors cold, cold to sleep. Icy pathways, easy to slip and fall. The staff did not speak english. My room had no hooks for towels or shower items.

We stayed in the hotel in December, and it was so cold, we were sleeping fully dressed and in warm socks.

The location is cool. The hotel is right near the beach, surrounded by the beautiful forrest.

the grass is not cut, the beds, carpets, tablecloths are worn, torn and dirty. the bridge is dilapidated, the paint is worn off. order and corrections are needed everywhere.

Sleeping was challenging due to noise from neighboring cottages. Our porch, chairs and window pane were covered in mud and soil from some cleaning activities the same day, but it had not been cleaned up. So we could not really use our porch and chairs for eating or relaxing, since there was also no broom to clean it up ourselves. The ceiling fan was noisy and seemed a bit broken, but we needed it, as the noise outside kept us from keeping the window open.

The check-in staff was quite helpful in communicating with the loud party crowd next to the building, asking them to move closer to the lake to continue their late night of boozing. Being able to check in at 10pm was very helpful. We needed to sleep, so it became possible at midnight or so. The lake is scenic and there are wonderful tables and chairs overlooking the body of water. Beautiful nature.

Unfortunately restaurant, where I wanted to eat in the evening as well as in the morning, did not operate, so I could not buy anything to eat. Building and some of the facilities were neglected. Room and bathroom were not clean enough. Room acoustics is very poor. In my oppinion this place needs renovation and more care.

Atpūtas komplekss Lilaste is located at the beautiful lake. There are many outdoor facilities to use.
