Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United States1) We paid extra for a balcony with a hot tub. The hot tub was unusable for the whole trip and actually physically dangerous. The water was dangerously hot to the point you couldn't get in and the Hot/Cold lever made no difference. If a child were to fall in..... 2) We wanted to check out the rooftop bar 360. it was advertized as being open until midnight. We went up at 11.05pm on 2/27 for a nightcap after dinner in town. It was fairly dark and we asked the staff for a drink - they said it was closed and asked us to leave. We were made to feel unwelcome. We went back down to the reception and inquired on the opening hours, They said it was still open and called up - and said we should go back up but as we had been made to feel unwelcome we didn't 3) The Beach Club - the first day we went at 1pm and secured some loungers. We asked for towels and were told they were none left and to wait 20 minutes. After 30 minutes we tracked someone down and asked for towels and they said there weren't any. After another 15 minutes we tracked someone else down and asked for a towel. they took us to a room beneath the restaurant and produced two immediately. It was also always hard to find someone to order a drink 4) The beds are very, very hard and hurt my wife's back.
The Corazon is a good hotel which could easily get to the excellent stage with some minor improvements in service and facilities - I anticipate all of these could be easily done.. the location and decor are fantastic and it is very clean and welcoming. It's also great having a brewery restaurant, Baja, onsite

United StatesThe front desk service was extremely lacking. It was very difficult to work with the front desk and concierge prior to our trip to arrange transportation. My husband tried extensively to send us a bottle of champagne to our room, and they completely dropped the ball and did not do it. They also had terrible communication and expectations around setting up reservations. I tried to reserve a dinner table - and they did not seem to have my reservation. We were also not told that we needed reservations for the pool, which was very frustrating to not be able to get a chair, for the price we were paying for the hotel. The DJ on the rooftop was fun, but shook the top few floors of the hotel all night until about 4am. We wanted a restful nights sleep in our suite on the 5th floor - and were kept all night by the shaking of the DJ.
It is a beautiful hotel, with great design, and great location. The views can't be beat, and most of the facilities felt very luxurious and separated from the chaos of surrounding areas.

CanadaThe constant harassment to listen to their “membership” pitch. it’s basically a time share and it’s quite clear that this is the number one priority of their “concierge”service. They are so determined to get you in to their meeting that they will offer free three night stay in the future and to pay for multiple activities you want. I refused for several days until I finally caved. The meeting with the sales person felt like I was being strong armed into paying for this membership and that if we said no there were going to be some consequences. This was terrible experience and nearly ruined our time at the resort.
Beautiful new building in a great location in Cabo. We paid to upgrade to a partial view room as it was slightly obstructed by the building in front of us, but it was well worth it. the room felt modern and comfortable and I loved the sliding glass doors that opened up the whole room to the terrace. my only issue is that there was no way to fully regulate the temperature of the jacuzzi on the terrace as is would be burning hot if you left it on for too long and got cold if you turned it off, unlike hot tubs I’m used to where you can set a temperature to regulate at.

United StatesThe hotel tries to trick you into listening to a 90 min presentation by offering free breakfast when you get there. They are not clear on this until you get to the breakfast. They are kinda pushy on the whole thing. Also they push their tours on you. For example: I scheduled a jet ski with Viator and the hotel told me they didn’t know why Viator was taking my money when no jet skis were allowed on the ocean the week I was there. This was Cleary a lie since there were jet skis everywhere. They basically wanted me to rent their jet skis instead. I didn’t like this shady business they had going on.
Loved the location central to everything. Very clean. The view was gorgeous everywhere you were.

PhilippinesThey gave us a different room than what I had originally booked. At first I was disappointed but as I was looking forward to stay in the newly renovated rooms with the jacuzzi. We still got a room with the jacuzzi and amazing views so we just made the best out of it. To compensate for this, they gave us a free champagne bottle which I appreciated.
Great hotel! the staff was very accommodating and our overall experience was great. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, service, and location. It's located right in front of Medano beach (which is one of the swimmable beach in Cabo) and with so many great restaurants around.

PanamaI was overcharged 900$ when I was checking in and after a month and few days, this money +500$ safety deposit are still not back in my account. I’ve been in thousands of hotels around the world and never I had such an issue. I’m basically calling almost every day to ask what happened with the transfer and every day is the same, we will check with accounting, oh they are waiting for a signature from whoever, oh they will transfer them soon, but still nothing. If you choose to stay in this hotel, just be very cautious with the charges and better give them cash for the safety deposit, because it is not clear when they will return it!
