The pictures are deceiving, they dont say that there are two buildings to the hotel, one that is more renovated and new, and the other side that is covered by ugly an abandoned building. If it weren't for that building, you'd be able to see the beach, but of course you have to chose the newer side ($$) of the building to get a higher up room to see the view of the sea and not a ugly abandoned dirty building. A little more honesty would be nice so people don't get deceived by the photos, the pool is also shaded by that big abandoned building. It's OK value for location if you're just going to sleep there.

Lots of steps so be mindful if you have mobility issues. Not so much a criticism, but something to be aware of, the music from the local clubs can be clearly heard til 5am. Not an issue for me.

Super location. Literally a stone’s throw to the beach. Room was very spacious and very clean. Pool area was lovely.

Huge construction work destroys the beach view, wich we knew before from the other reviews, just be prepared and laugh it away :P (looks like the construction won't be finished in a while though, since plants are growing in there already); loud club music, partially until 6.30 am

there were some weird orange spots on the wall, no hair dryer, just two towels (not big enough for the body), no towels for the face or the hair or the pool. a very small mirror. The shower head was soo weak with little water, not so practical when you are all day at the beach.

No beach view, there is a ruined building in front. No towels… Very noisy during night. There few clubs very close.

It’s just a average hotel. Nothing to complain but the rating on booking is exagerated. Close to the beach. Close to a lot of bar and restaurants. There a tiny parking, but you easily can park in the street. I don’t know if it’s safe but it’s almost the same thing than the hotel parking. There’s no security. Main door of the hotel is open 24/24.

We had an excellent stay and really appreciated good advice about the area from Brenda at the front desk. The only down side was the loud music coming from Coconutz nightclub on the seafront between midnight and 6am. Not the hotel's fault, but definitely bring earplugs. I will stay somewhere quiter next time. But still, excellent value for money.

Great accomodation, lovely staff, nice pool, good amenities nearby. The cabins have everything you need, bar a kettle which you can use at the front desk. Shared clean water bottles at the entrance.

Missing coffee maker or even little package of coffee and creamer.

We were pleased with our room, The NEW section is really nice, roomy, clean and the beds were good. The kitchen had only basics, and no coffee making options. Our room had a view, deck and kitchen, so we were very happy. Note, we were there on a weekday, below us were event places that could get loud on the weekends, but that's Puerto on the weekend!

This is in all the reviews about the large monstrosity of concrete (we named it Behemoth) that blocks the view of the ocean, but from the house we had a decent enough view. A positive is, it blocks some of the noise from the streets and the bars below. It’s a sad site that has no place on this beach and even if it were to be finished, it just does not belong here. Super happy the locals had the construction halted, but now what? I suggest give every guest a paint ball gun and eventually it will be a piece of art🤣 Thur-Saturday the bar below blasts techno music, which is ridiculously loud. We learned to make sure our doors were closed and have fan going to help drown out the boom boom, also consume mezcal and pass out. lol Air conditioning would definitely be a plus. There is a patio just below the house that could use some love. I recommend some plants , comfortable lawn chairs with cushions and umbrellas, also, a couple more tables where guests can enjoy their morning coffee, have lunch, play board games etc. The plastic furniture by the pool.

We stayed in the three bedroom house which is huge. Beautifully decorated in a Mexican style, with beautiful pottery displayed in kitchen and dinning room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and more. The beds are comfortable. The living room has comfortable furniture and has large patio doors that open to a patio and lawn to suntan on. The pool is clean and a perfect temperature and just steps from the house. The hotel is in a good location, just steps from the beach and restaurants and bars. The staff are super kind and helpful. The best breakfast place is next door, as well as a excellent smoothie and juice bar. There is a laundry service just around the corner and a yoga and health spa. We made friends with a few geckos and an iguana, we named Alfredo. Would definitely stay here again!

You need to step outside the front door and walk across a garden located immediately next door to get to the pool, would be nice to offer bathrobes to giests to make this little walk down to the pool more pleasant.

The hotel was lovely: big rooms, well-equipped, minimalistic yet charming. Beautiful direct view of the beach and waves. Super easy access to the beach a few minutes walk away to watch the sunset, great swimming pool. What more could you want. The people were very helpful to book taxis and give us recommendations. We felt lucky that we picked a hotel with a few lively streets around it with several cafes and restaurants.
