I needed a well-priced place to layover close to the airport, and Bastion ticked all the boxes. I enjoyed the stay.

had to take two transfer busses to reach hotel from airport. and no elevator makes it challenging to get luggage to second floor

Bedlinin was not comfortable. Front staff change every day. Rooms a bit run down / Motel style.

Quiet area. supermarket in walkable distance (10-15min) Convinient location if you have Personal transportation or pickup.

We made a mistake getting this place. I wanted to stay at the Bastion that had a direct shuttle to the airport. This one has a similar name and I did not realized that I had gotten the wrong place. This hotel is fairly run down but it is possible to get a bus to go to the correct bus….inconvenient, but possible.

We survived! The clerk at the desk was a nice person.

Be careful if you are going to use an Airport Shuttle. They say it is shuttle bus between airport and the hotel. But in real from airport you go to the 2nd, another, bigger Bastion Hotel, on the way to Hoofddorp Bastion. Then you go off, and wait for another shuttle from this hotel to yours. 1) wait in airport 30min.minimum. 2) way to another Bastion 10 min. 3) wait for the 2nd shuttle 30 min. 4) way to your Bastion 10 min.

The rest were rarely at the desk and failed to answer intercom. Airport shuttle was not on time and never actually seen. I called an Uber instead

One worker was very smart and had great service. She fixed an incorrect booking for me no problem.

Communication between the guest and the hotel could be better. For example, on my arrival date, the hotel's airport shuttle was not working for some reason, but I was not warned about this, even though my flight arrived after 18:30 and the hotel had this information. So, after waiting one hour for the hotel's airport shuttle, I took a taxi. I would take the taxi immediately if I had known this in advance.

Not so much of a complaint but called the hotel for a shuttle being my first time in AMS didn’t really know how to take the bus , no answer, waited for an hour for the shuttle then took a Bolt to the hotel that cost me a lot more than whet the App said , leaving the hotel the next morning to the Airport the Shuttle wAs late .

The property was clean , great staff and beautiful room , got to enjoy the new chefs cooking , and dessert.

The beds are not suitable when you stay with a children. Two separate bed and no arrangement for a children of 4. The valve of the washing sink was hanging and not fixed.

The room was clean. There were useful and relevant facilities. It was good that there were coffee machine and frige.

We were on the ground floor rooms and at the very end of the hallway, so we cannot get any wifi connection at all. It was a bit inconvenient because we were here for a few 5 days I think.

This was one of the hotels where we stayed for a few days at. This is a good hotel for the price and location [we rented a car] as your home base for checking out places like Haarlem, The Hague, Alkmaar, Da Rijp, and Schiphol Airport.
