  • “We had an incredible stay at Richard and Lucrecia’s home with their lovely daughter Isabel. Lucrecia is exceptionally kind, and her cooking is truly delightful! We were welcomed with a delicious sopa de quinoa and grilled trucha for lunch. Later, Lucrecia guided us around the lake shore and showed us the stunning sites of Pachamama and Pachatata. Isabel took us to a charming community welcoming party near the house, and Lucrecia graciously lent us some of her beautiful traditional clothes. We then enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep in the cozy and warm beds of our room, which had a terrace overlooking the beautiful Lake Titicaca. We highly recommend staying with these amazing and loving hosts. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer than one night! Muchísimas gracias de nuevo por todo, Lucrecia. Abrazos fuertes de las francesas, Marine y Clémence!”

  • “Wonderful home stay family with property in an east-facing location giving a spectacular sunrise over the Cordillera Real.”

“Vidal and Sonia were great hosts! They picked us up at the port by motorbike, very nice trip around the island. The room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot water and they provide a heater for the night so we were not cold at all. They prepared lunch (quinoa soup and trout with rice and vegetables), diner (chicken with rice and vegetables) and breakfast (fried egg and pancakes) for 20 soles extra per meal per person which is extremely fair given that these were one of the best meals we had during our trip, home made by Sonia with fresh organic products.”

  • “We have been welcomed by the wonderful host Lucrecia (Richar’s wife) alongside with her daughter. The rooms are really nice and clean and the view is just incredible. For lunch dinner and breakfast Lucrecia cooks delicious and healthy meals that we loved. Spending some time there has been truly relaxing and one to one with nature and local culture! Thank you to the family, highly recommended for a unique experience. Note on how to arrive: Easily grab a local bus “collectivo” from Puno to Capachica and then take a local boat from Chifforn Port to Amantaní. Then either you walk 1+ hours or take a ride with the motorbike that are available at the port waiting (very cool experience)”

“The accommodation is located in the community on the opposite side respect where the boat from Puno arrives. That's permitted to be the only tourist in this side of the island during our stay. You have to consider 20 soles per person to reach the accommodation from the pier with a motorbike. Otherwise you need at least 1 hour and 30 minute of walk. The host family is amazing, Justa prepared delicious meals and joined us for a while for the walking up to pacha mama on the top of the island. Amantanì is magic, it is a rural island surrounded by the lake. Stunning scenario where to relax and take great pictures. The night sky from the house is unforgettable.”
