“Staff were great. Lovely and helpful. The room was big and had all you would expect for what we paid. The bed was comfy. The restaurant was exceptional ... fantastic food (the duck breast deserves a Michelin star). It was my wife's birthday, and the staff surprised us with a small bday cake. The serving staff went above and beyond. The evening view of the lake was beautiful with dinner. Only slight criticism ... ver limited wine list with poor reds and only 2 did whites (a German Riesling and a NZ sauv blanc). Before booking I had read online about their fantastic in house sommelier. There was no evidence of any sommelier when we had wine. I noticed in the baltics that wines are poor ... how come? Surely tax free choices from regions as far apart as The Balkans & Portugal!
Free onsite parking is also a big plus.”
