  “This was perfect for a night's stay in Ouray - in fact, we wished we could stay longer. The room may have been a little smaller than some of the places we'd stayed on our trip, but it was very comfortable and homely and was in a lovely timber house in a beautiful setting with a lovely breakfast room and lounge area. The host was very welcoming and made a delicious breakfast which was included in the price (unlike most places we stayed), making Black Bear Manor also very good value for money, as well as being one of the nicest places we stayed in during a 3-week trip. Wholly recommend it.”

  “Location is excellent; even in Winter, we were able to walk the length of Main Street, find coffee and breakfast nearby and wander down to the Wiesbaden hot springs one evening. We stayed in the Miner's Cabin, and my father stayed in one of the rooms in the main property. I've stayed here at the Inn on a previous occasion, and we returned for the wonderfully cosy and comfortable rooms, and the friendly management. The homemade banana bread always makes me grin too.”

  “Carmen and Brett were so friendly, helpful, interesting and lovely, they really made our holiday! Location was perfect. Breakfast was great, especially the waffles! Happy hour free cookies and wine were also very welcome! Great local walks up to Box Canyon.”
