How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Staff were not that friendly at times. Shower is pretty rubbish- not power at all.
Good room in the centre of bangkok. Easy walk to some of the main temples and the river. Room is basic but has everything you need- comfy bed, aircon etc. buffet breakfast had lots of good options Pool is great- lots if places to sit around it and great views

Pool too warm, beds around pool uncomfortable. No additional blankets available (useful as the airconditioner is necessary but can be cold due to direct exposure).
Good pool area. Nice staff. Good breakfast buffet options. Nice inner courtyard.

The A/C in the room works very well, almost too well, and is pointed directly towards the bed, which made it VERY cold at night when it was on, but too hot with it off. A minor details, this place is still awesome.
The staff is very very helpful, the location is perfect, close to Khao San road, but very any noise at all. They have luggage storage for 20baht per day per bag, which is really nice. Didn't book with breakfast, but it looks decent from what i've seen. The rooftop pool area is amazing.

Our room with twin bed was really small with old AC and view straight to the wall. Our friend room with 2 solo beds on the other was pretty spacious with newer AC.
Location of this hotel couldnt be better. You are just a few steps away from Khaosan road and lot of small bars and shops are nearby as well. But its not noisy at all at night, so no worries. Big surprise was the breakfast. Lot of food options from eggs, soups, thai foods, fresh fruit and lot lot more. Rooms were quite small, but if you only use it for sleep, its enough. Rooftop swimming pool was great too with view to temple right next to hotel.

It was haunted. I woke up one night to the sound of children crying, which I thought was in the next room, but then it got closer, and I felt two hands grab my feet. I jumped up and turned on the light immediately and there was nobody there
Very comfy. Air con was good, pool on the rooftop, and in a great location!

1. Rooms were a bit dated and smaller in size, specially the junior doubles 2. AC was either too cold or too hot, nothing in between 3. Out of 6 rooms we booked for our family, 3 were in 2nd floor with no elevator at all. Very uncomfortable for the senior citizens we had in our group.
1. Location is excellent, just a stone's throw away from Khao San road 2. Buffet breakfast was extremely delicious with a lot of choices 3. Terrace pool was great in the evening. During the day it's super crowded but after 6pm its enjoyable. Also quite huge in size

Rooms need updating.
Have stayed here eight times over the years, quiet hotel right in the heart of the action, close to the Khossan Road, good restaurants nearby, will always use this hotel when in Bangkok.

The property is a bit dated (pictures make it look much nicer). The aircon control was not great as I could either have it very cold or warm. The pool (which was one of the factors why I chose this hotel) closes at 8pm in the evening so you cannot go there to enjoy the views at night.
The location is great for visiting the temples and walking streets
