Although the breakfast was very nice and fresh, I think it could have done with more fruit and maybe some more Turkish produce. For example, maybe provide a different dish every day like borek. Also, the breakfast room was very hot and we had to keep asking to open the windows. We didn't seem to have this issue with the last hotel we stayed at so trying to enjoy the view, with the blinds down and feeling hot wasn't very nice.

We really liked the decor and the location. We have stayed on this exact road before so we were very familiar with where we were. The rooms are very compact and clean; exactly what you'd expect in Sultanahmet for the price. For a family, it would benefit from having something stuck above the sink to put our toothbrushes in, a simple touch would be helpful.

Without doubt the best attribute about the Adamar is its location. Not only central to all the major attractions, its roof-top terrace is the ideal place to sit and plan your day, or simply to nip up to have a drink away from all the hustle and bustle.

A basic hotel that is clean and well maintained. Situated with easy access to the main sights of Istanbul. Very amenable staff. Fantastic breakfast. Nice rooftop restaurant where we had one meal which was excellent. Whatsnot to like?

Great value for money. Location was exceptional for the old town. The only thing to note is that it’s on a busy intersection so if you’re a light sleeper maybe get a room away from the roads. The hotel was as per the photos and they were in the process of updating the foyer whilst we were there. The beds were very clean and super comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and authentic. The views from the breakfast area were impressive. There was a slightly unpleasant smell in the room which we apportioned to the ancient drains but we’ve experienced worse in Italy. Would certainly recommend.

What I didn't like was that the room was way too hot, even though all the heat was switched off from the first night, even with an open window the room didn t get any better (late November). We used for couple of nights the A/C at cold, in order to make it better. Furthermore, the hotel is located at a central and very busy road, so the noise in the night can not be ignored. Also, the towels were clean but had holes, which is something that can be fixed. Lastly, I believe that the pillows also need a replacement as they were hard, though it was not such an issue.

Our stay at the hotel overall was a good experience. The stuff was very kind (receptionist, the guy that helped with luggage, the cleaning lady, and the stuff at the breakfast). The room was specious for 2 people and clean. It was very close to all the sights we wanted to visit, and you could reach them on foot. The breakfast was good too.

The rooms where clean, beautiful view, people from the breakfast and administration are so nice and welcome! It is not in Goreme, but it was close enough to take a taxi for $6 dollars and get the hotel. Next to the hotel they have a nice restaurant to have dinner or take a good wine 🍷. They were very helpful with our luggage to store after check out.

We had to change rooms after the first night because they didn't have the type of room we reserved available for us on the first night.

This hotel is right in the middle of Sultanhamet so is in close proximity to main tourist attractions and the metro stops. It was recently renovated so it feels modern and the staff was very friendly. The view from the rooftop is amazing!

Rooftop restaurant had the most amazing views but the food was not that nice which was disappointing. However I would still go back and stay at the hotel.

Really clean and well located hotel. First time staying here and I was really impressed. Great staff. Breakfast was really nice. I and my 2 year old with me and needed hot milk every morning and this was provided for me which was really appreciated.

You really can’t beat this location, close to everything (public transportation, tourist attractions, great restaurants, etc). The service was splendid, and the view from their terrace restaurant absolutely breathtaking!

The dinner we had in the restaurant wasn't good! We only ate there one evening but the food was poor - dry chicken, tasteless calamari! We would not recommend it to anyone, sadly it was too windy to eat outside and enjoy the views. W Through Adamar we booked a very very expansive hotel taxi pick up from the airport on arrival. We expected to be met by the driver but had to walk the length of the airport with heavy bags then up into the car park to get to the car! The taxi had a significant steering problem and seemed to veer off the road then jerk back constantly. The driver played the radio very loudly so we couldn't hear ourselves speak!!! Three times we asked him to turn down the volume, he did but it always reverted back to being loud!! It was a horrible experience. I got a taxi for half the price to take us back to the airport. It was a very bad first experience of the Adamar service.

Breakfast was very good but it should start earlier than 8.00am as many people start tours at 8.30am so there's very little time for breakfast! One morning it wasn't even ready at 8.00am and guests, including us, were kept waiting to eat!

Lovely staff who can communicate in English well and do anything to help you and look after you. We left early before breakfast for a tour and they made a sandwich for us 8 iced tea which was very much appreciated. The hotel is in an excellent location for the old town major sites. The room was very comfortable The breakfast was extensive
