There are many junkies around the hotel, but the hotel is safe. Its fine during the day, but after sunset its not a good experience. Nothing happend to us, just did not feel safe outside. Rooms are smaller, but for 2 nights it was fine.

Hotel was very nice, personal was great - we got many good advices! Restaurant was not working, but we got tips where to buy food take away and eat it in the hotel.

Breakfast was very disappointing, only muffins, yogurt and apples every day. Coffee was good though. Also the bar and restaurant wasn't completed with renovations so looked empty and not too organised.

The hotel stuff was super friendly and helpful..The location wasn't great as lots of homeless people around the area, but transport was nearby to get you to places easily inc the airport.

Television did not work, staff tried to assist but it did not ever work. Location has no parking! Parking at garages in the area only.

the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. the hotel is walking distance to the metro and to the square. i will be choosing this hotel every time i will be visiting San Fransisco.

Room overlooked a busy street with a lot of screaming from people outside, glass bottles shattering in the street, and sirens. This occurred all night long. The heater in our room did not work, nor did the outlets in the bathroom.

While we were given a bigger room at check in which we appreciated a few things didn't work. The air cond only threw cold air the TV didn't work and the shower kept dripping. We were moved to another room which was better but some lighting did not work. It's often the little things....

Very basic hotel, but perfect for a trip where you're mainly out sightseeing anyway. Incredible location, close to Union Square for shopping and the subway station for a direct link to the airport in only 30 mins. Bonus: The beds were insanely comfortable!

The room was very dark and smaller than what it looks on the pictures. For a four star hotel, I would have expected there would be a main light in the room. The lift was out of order for the three nights we were there, we were lucky to be put in a room that was on the second floor but the stairs up were very narrow for a suitcase.

The hotel was nice and the location was great for nearby places to eat and getting on public transport. The staff were friendly

The Elevator was still broke. I read that in reviews from a month ago and didn’t think they would not have fixed it yet. My daughter has a broken hip. Stairs are really steep. So it was not ideal… Be aware that the staff says, it will take another month or so to get a new elevator…

There was no fridge or microwave anywhere which was a bit inconvenient. There was often a man playing very loud music right out front.

The workers were super friendly willing to lend a hand. Its within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and activities.

the elevator is down which they did notify us and give us a credit for, but those stairs are brutal.. 4th floor and up and down really kills your knees and lugging up and down a heavy suitcase is no small feat..
