Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNo housekeeping. Happy Hour was very poor. Most drinks you were charged for, Snacks were chips and salsa. Poorly displayed. Many of the amenities are no longer available. Prices still charged as if they were.
The Biltmore Area is beautiful and perfect for shopping and fine restaurants. Staff polite and helpful. Nice pool area,

United StatesThe property is great but rooms are tired & need help! In bathroom, hot water facet in sink couldn’t be turned off! wasting precious water! The sheets were very worn & didn’t look clean or feel fresh! The same in bathroom! Mold in bathroom on corner floor. The hotel is in such a great location! This hotel should be outstanding as it use to be! we have come to this Embassy Suites Biltmore for years & sad to see the decline!!!!!
The location for us when we visit Phoenix.

United StatesThe shower faucet was loose, and it needed to be fixed. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The shower has a little bit of mold in the walls. The complimentary happy hour was very simple compared to other Embassy Suutes... chips, salsa, watermelon, wine, budweiser, and budlight (woke beer 😖 )
The location was great. It was near to a shopping center with nice restaurants and AMC theaters. We felt safe going for a walk.

United StatesWe were there for vacation and booked the hotel for the Happy Hour, breakfast in the mornings and have stayed in other Embassy Suites in the past and had great experiences, at this particular location it was said that Happy Hour was daily from 5-7 PM drinks and snacks, you only had a choice of two beers, and only a few mixed drinks, the first night was ok even though we didn’t drink the flavor of beer they offered, Budweiser. The rest of the week the drinks were the same, there were no more snacks and on Sunday we were told there was no Happy Hour, when we tried to order pool side drinks we were told they don’t serve poolside even though they advertised it on the pool side chairs. We should have known not to expect much because when we first arrived to the Hotel we were 2 hours early and when asked if we could check in early they charged us $25.00 extra, we travel a lot and have never paid to get in early at any hotel chain, the room was ready so they didn’t do us any favors by having to rush to get our room done. We will not be staying at this hotel chain if this is the way they treat their customers,

United StatesIn the middle of a heatwave, we were told that the hotel was having a problem with the air conditioner. I was told that our room was not affected, when in fact it was. Our room was set on 60 degrees, was feeling 78 degrees. When I asked for a discount on our room, I was told that only my parking would be comped.
The location was great the staff was great.

United StatesThe lights in our room flickered quite a bit. They mentioned they charge for parking even if you are staying at the hotel. They send a ton of messages about rating them which can get a bit annoying. There was a palm tree that was all over our balcony with a wasp in it.
The breakfast was great and the location was good. The hotel was nice. Employees were nice.

United StatesI don't like that we have to pay to park our car. If you had a private parking garage where my vehicle was safe, I would understand but the fact that I have to pay to use your parking lot is a bit ridiculous.
Loved the hotel. It is beautiful. We also enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. It's our 2nd time staying and we will definitely be back.

United StatesRooms were stuffy and only on "winter" mode so that you could not control the room temperature. We had to have a box fan and keep the patio door open. We asked for a renovated room and we were charged an extra $20 per room.
The lobby with the fish and plants were very enjoyable. Hot breakfast. Renovated rooms.
