We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaThe room was very dirty . The walls and doors and surfaces were grimy and dirty. The carpet needs to be replaced. A lot of upgrading needed but cleaning is needed most . Sounds easily heard from around the other rooms. Around midnight the smoke detector started beeping intermittently due to need for battery replacement. At 5:30 am we got an unrequested wake up call .

We were move to a second room because the first room smelled so bad, there were cigarette ashes everywhere. The second room didn’t smell as bad but it’s was the filthiest room every. It was never cleaned from the guest before except it looked like they might have changed the sheets. The place was gross inside and out.
