When we arrived at 9:30pm, it was VERY busy in the lobby so we ended up having to wait a while until we were able to be checked in which was very surprising, but the employee was incredibly kind!

Charleston was the halfway point for our family's first road trip (Indiana to North Carolina). On our way there, we stayed at a hotel that did not have a pool, but trying to wear out our 4 & 2.5 year old after 7 hours in the car in just our room was challenging. We decided to stay at this location on our return trip because of the pool. Thankfully the pools hours were incredibly accommodating -- we didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the pool was open until 11pm. Our kids, despite being exhausted, really enjoyed the pool so much so that we returned the next morning at 7am.

Free breakfast would have been great considering how pricey the rooms are.

The breakfast was great, but way too expensive I thought it was complimentary, we paid almost $180 for one night, and then when we got our breakfast in the AM we had to pay almost another $30, so not cool.

Breakfast finishes at 9 30am, so never had a chance to try. There's no real closet in the room, nor a little table and chair besides the desk and office chair. Been to many IHG holiday inns, this room we stayed seems bit crowded.

We love the pool and Jacuzzi spa. And the design that having the restroom and shower inside the pool room is thus far the best I've seen among the holiday inn indoor pool facilities. Just for this reason alone, we would love to stay here again!

There was a group of men staying at the hotel who partied in the hotel parking lot outside our room until 4 am. Multiple calls to the front desk did not result in the men dispersing until we asked if we should call the police. We discussed the issue with management afterwards who apologized and said they would do better next time. We complained to Booking.com who arranged a $30 refund for the two rooms my family occupied.

Unfortunately our room smelled like smoke. I have allergies and felt stuffy the whole time. The room also had an ant invasion. My girls came home with ants still crawling on/in their bags. This was awful. I should’ve asked to move to another room.

The breakfast was great. The pool, workout facilities, hot tub, outdoor area, restaurant…all were very nice. My kids enjoyed the facilities very much. Also enjoyed having a kitchenette available.

bathtub clogged. not enough outlets compared to Drury inn had tons of outlets for laptops phones etc. it seemed like it was not in the best part of Charleston.

That the things that I was told and paid for through Booking.com. Didn’t happen when we got there. It was an additional $20 and I paid the $8 for breakfast and it wasn’t included. The receptionist said it was your mistake

We were heading to a vacation destination and made reservations for a stopover. This hotel was right off the highway. It was an older hotel but we’ll kept.

Obnoxious smell when we arrived at the hotel, perhaps it was from the pool, IDK it was not an enjoyable experience especially while we were trying to enjoy dinner. Also, I thought the price was way out of line based on the location (very industrial). Room and bathroom had not been updated. I frequent IFG exclusively and will not stay at this location in the future. Very disappointing.

We paid $10 for a spread much like all other IHG's which offer free breakfast. I would have felt better if there was a selection over and above what I usually enjoy for free.

I will never rate a properly excellent that has the old school HVAC in the room. Noisy cycling of the AC prevents a good night's sleep.

Very accommodating staff! We used the shuttle from the airport and the shuttle to the uhaul rental location nearby. Drivers were so nice! Very comfortable beds. Pool and spa were excellent because we got lucky and no kids in the pool area. Lol.
