We had a 2 night stay and they locked our room the next When we arrived with our purchases and had to go to the office to have our door unlocked. I noticed that my Fitbit that I left charging in the room was missing after the staff entered to bring towels. I called and they did denied any responsibility. We were required to leave a cash deposit and at check out we were not given a receipt. The pool is small and the hot tub is about the size of a bathtub in your house. The bathrooms are dated and bathtub handle was hard to twist on and off.

The coffee was not good, they just had bread, little donuts and cereal served with milk that they poured themselves into a pitcher.

I don’t like how the pool was super cold and there were no lights at night. The reason we got the hotel was so our kids could enjoy the pool but it was too cold and dark. Breakfast was only cereal and it was a small place to eat so we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. We went to los Tortugo’s

Internet is very poor quality. The shower wash was out and when I asked to add it, the cleaning lady told me the shampoo is a shower wash.

They charged me 55 dollars for 2 rooms total of 114.00 and for the third room they charged me $85.00 same type of room. I feel Scammed

The accommodation was shabby and a bit run down. It was the worst breakfast I had ever seen for a place that claimed to provide breakfast. Breakfast included a loaf of break, a tub of margarine, and a jar of jelly with a toaster. There wasn't even tea/coffee or water provided. The linens had little hairs and seemed dirty. The bathroom had mold. The first night of our stay there was a REALLY loud party happening next door until ~2am. I would not recommend staying here.

The location was central and it had a pool and hot tub. The price was okay and a bare bones, inadequate breakfast was provided. The bed and couch were comfortable and the bathroom had good water pressure and the tub drained well. There was a counter outside the bathroom with a sink that made it easier to get ready.

I arrived at the hotel a little early, maybe 2pm as I drove through the night to get to South Padre Island, the check in staff requested $25 early check in fee although the room was ready for us anyway and upon coming home I didn't see any mention of an early check in fee on booking.com which I'm very disappointed with! No stopper in sink, shower drains slow, the pillows not very comfortable for me personally and glad I brought an extra pillow and blanket from home as a 3 thin sheets weren't sufficient, telephone missing most buttons, there was dried urine on the toilet seat which I cleaned off, questionable smear mark on wall in bathroom, hair dryer didn't work, coffee maker dusty inside and also didn't work (these were replaced 12 hrs later) when reported to night staff I had to request it to be passed on to maintenance as she didn't seem bothered about making note of it and said she couldn't get me any hot water for a coffee/tea at 8pm, key card stopped working first night, from other reviews it seemed there is always an issue with the soap/shampoo dispensers being empty so no surprise ours were completely empty/missing but always bring my own, the pool is nice but doesn't look like pictures i.e umbrellas missing etc parking can be hard if fully booked, there is no continental breakfast, couldn't see/find any vending machines, lights outside blinking all night even though curtain was shut could still see it, upon checking out my $100 note deposit was given back to me in $10s after confirmed by another employee our room wasn't damaged. I'm not high maintenance, a 2 star is a 2 star hotel and somewhere to sleep is good enough but at almost $170 a night is a little steep.

Very convenient location, price was understandable considering it was a holiday weekend but I've stayed in better for less, check in receptionist was pleasant and talkative (which is nice) king bed was very comfortable, nice cool AC worked well (AC was quiet in our room) hand towel, cloth and bath towel provided, pool was quiet most of the time, staff didn't mind us using our beach chairs outside our room to relax, maintenance guy was friendly and sorted an issue we had the next day, check out staff friendly!
