The front desk took excessively long to check us in, only to figure out that they were actually charging me again for the hotel room. There was absolutely zero transparency from the associate about the process other than a “sorry for the wait.” I only found out about this by checking my bank statement and seeing the charge on my account and reached out to the staff via email. The charge was only disputed after I had to email the hotel about the situation and see that be reflected. Not only that, but the curtains didn’t fully cover the window and left it exposed for people to see inside. Although it appears to be a relatively secure location, it didn’t feel as private as it could’ve been. Lastly, the bathrooms didn’t provide a full barrier and it was easy to spill water on the bathroom floor by a mild shower.

I loved the hotel themselves. Clean, minimal, and provided a lot of amenities. Although the tub was prone to leaking water outside, it’s a very nice hotel room overall.

Excellent location, staff was friendly and room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Having breakfast included would have been nice, but having a full kitchen definitely made up for it and being nextdoor to an ALDI was definitely a big plus. I want to give a special shoutout to Devin for helping me recover a bag I left when I checked out. The fast and efficient way this was handled definitely added to the already positive experience. Thank you!

This hotel was advertised as having in-room jacuzzis/hot tubs - the ENTIRE reason I booked it. It does not, in fact, have any. So, false advertising. If I had known, I would have booked elsewhere or saved my money. The pic is their “hot tub” - a standard bathtub that didn’t even properly plug up for a bath.

It was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful.

The hotel reeked of smoke and smokers who hung outside the doors and below the windows of the rooms. The refrigerator in our unit leaked. And the internet was UNGODLY slow. Completely unusable for wfh, we had to go to a wework for decent internet.

The location was great, very convenient. And the gym facilities were nice. The room was overall acceptable, but there was a lot of noise on the grounds and in the parking lot from other guests.

Our room smelled like marijuana when we arrived, and the smell wafted in several times though out our stay. The couch was not very comfortable to sit on. Not much sound insulation either, so you could hear everything the neighbors were saying.

Easy access to DC, close to several good places for breakfast and dinner, right next to an Aldi for easy access to groceries. Price was fair for what it was.

When I made my booking, parking was free. In the intervening time they started charging $5 for parking. In a parking lots that’s already there, just a pure money grab. And since they became a Sonesta, they stopped offering breakfast AND got rid of the pool 😩

I booked a 1 room suite and got upgraded for free to a 2 room suite which was perfect for us and our baby! The front desk associate was so helpful and friendly. It’s a new building and very clean. There’s an Aldi in the parking lot next door so it’s very convenient for grabbing food to cook in the room!

Paying per night to park, waiting for someone to come to the desk so I could check in, room cards had to be reset after they stopped working, terrible internet, and no breakfast was served from what I saw.

It's a good spot if you want to avoid the crazy DC traffic and save money on food by using the room's kitchenette.
