Was disappointed that the laundry service was not available, that’s why I came to this hotel.

Pool does not look like the pic online at all, very old delepitated and had green water . Dirty floor in room, broken tiles. Bed was comfy. Noisy from highway . I think a bit overpriced .

The location is sketchy as h*ll. Homeless sleeping around. The shower did not have hot water (just warm). The shower head sprayed more water from the back of it than the front. The tub resurfacing was peeling pretty bad. There were rusty nails holding up the towel rack. The floor was horribly scratched up with deep gouges. The tile in the bathroom was so sticky we kept our shoes on the whole time. The window treatment had several large holes in it that had been whip stitched back together poorly. The pillows looked and felt like they were 10 years old and they were not comfortable at all. They were very grey looking. The sheets were stained with old blood.

We liked the distance between Pearl and the Rodeo. The air-conditioning was good. The bed was comfortable.

The facility was such that you questioned just what might work. Breakfast far below anticipated. Towels couldn't be changed out until late afternoon because the dryer apparently needed to be replaced. The TV didn't give any local stations so no news. Shower curtain dirty. The safety box didn't work. The deadbolt didn't work. The telephone? Don't know, it was found the third day in a drawer. I heard they were short of help, but the staff did the best they could with what they had and that helped a lot.

The staff tied very hard to keep us happy and did it with joy.

When description states that the hotel has breakfast. It should be more then coffee or at least say coffee in the lobby. Our room did have a small individual coffee maker but since we stayed as “extended” ( We stayed Monday night and checked out Friday morning). We finished our coffee the first day. Our room was not cleaned so our coffee was not refilled. Hotel description also mention that the hotel was next to a bus station. Which was one of the reason I got I reserved it. It was next not, it was in fact a bus stop, a place where bus were stationed during the night or waiting until the bus had to load clients to transport them. Linen, bed sheets, blankets, towels and even the curtains were very worn and old with holes and stains.

In the description it said breakfast on the go. I thought juice, muffins/bagel maybe toast or a pastries and of course coffee. It ended up being coffee and …just coffee.

While the location is great the immediate area around the hotel is a little sketchy with homeless sometimes congregating under the overpass across the street. Towels and linens stained or have cigarette holes. Curtains torn and/or have holes. Shower rod was broken so hung down and shower curtain would not stay closed.

You can't beat the price for this location 2 blocks from the Pearl District. The staff is excellent, the location is great (2 blocks from the Pearl District), close to downtown and St. Mary's strip. Nice little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant across the street. Also a brewery and rock climbing gym right behind the hotel.

I didn't appreciate that the floor was sticky and dusty, pretty much dirty. I kept finding hairs around the room and the coffee machine was dirty on the inside it was disgusting. We kept getting big roaches from the restroom their was a hole behind the toilet that should seriously get fixed. The plug connections by the beds on the lamps were mest up they should definitely get new ones. The fact that their was also a couple next to us who kept screaming at eachother during any time of the day was unbelievable theirs no reason for anyone else to hear such a personal argument and so much bad language. When we would leave in the morning their be trash infront of our door step like the disrespect knowing their was 2 trash cans near the door. Also fake advertisement on the photos when you look at this hotel online the pool is nothing like the pictures it's a disappointment, it's a sad sight.

I liked that the bed was surprisingly comfy and the fact the hotel was so close to everything I had planned for the trip so it was very convenient. Low price was also okay and the staff was friendly and polite.

The hotel was located next to an interstate highway and the road noise was heard while we were sleeping at night. The highway sound was a built in alarm in the morning.

The hotel was located next to a city bus stop so it was convenient for us to take the bus. Also the Pearl was only a short walk from the hotel.

The cleaning appeared to be a rushed job. I almost always carry sanitizing wipes with me so i wiped down anything and everything i could before allowing my kids inside. The floor was very dirty (and only because i ran out of sanitizing wipes or I would have wiped the floor too!), the bathtub could've used some scrubbing (we opted not to bathe the one night we were there), and lastly, some of the smaller towels (hand and wash towels) had yellow stains on them and I found a rolled feminine napkin in what appeared to be either inside one of the rolled hand towels or in the cubby where the towel was stored because it fell right out the moment I pulled out the towel from it.

My daughter especially liked the bed, but that was it. My granddaughter and I liked it too. We also like the short distance to downtown/riverwalk. Twice we had to return to the motel because we forgot something but it was not a big deal because we were close by. I also like that the receptionist was kind enough to accommodate us by putting us on the first floor and let us check in earlier than scheduled. We stayed only because the bed was soft, the sheets looked clean and the distance to the riverwalk was convenient. Not to mention, we were only in town one night, otherwise, I would've stayed someplace else.
