Surrounded by lush and unspoiled beech forests is the Munkebjerg Bed & Breakfast, an excellent base for visits to both the Legoland Theme Park and Givskud Zoo.
Close by is also the city of Kolding and the historical fortress town Fredericia. Billund Airport is just a 35 minute drive away.

The host was friendly and thinking along. The location is peaceful, quiet, rural and nearby the Vejle Fjord. There were also chickens, pheasants, swallows and a horse welcoming us :) Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The beds were comfortable and the view from the window was fairytale like.

Everything was excellent! Nice pool and saunas, great breakfast and coffee included, and they leave the machines on so you can pop back later for a recharge. All perfect. Nice walk through the forest down to the lake.

We were probably a bit too noisy compared to Mette’s regular guests. I had a great sleep there the first night (without the grandchild sharing - i was worried she might leave the room if she woke up.
