We stopped at Ethno Village Slatkovac 2 times - on a way to and back from Montenegro.
It's rare feeling you get in 1-night stay - we really felt like home, me, my wife and our dog who also enjoyed the place.
Nenad, Dragan and Sanja are very warm, kind people and made sure that we are truly welcomed. No matter how late we arrived after 8-hours roadtrips, a delicious dinner (adjusted to our vegetarian request) was waiting for us on both occasions, as well as homely smile and a friendly chat. A Serbian breakfast cooked by Dragan is, honestly, appropriate for dinner meal in terms of variety and taste of dishes. Not to forget, home wine, jams and syrups are there to accompany this great food.
After we satisfied our hunger, we could listen to night silence and look at starry skies, breath clean air and listen to the river flow - or enjoy the morning vibes, watch squirrels and hear birds starting their day.
Hat-off for restoration efforts of buildings from start of 20th century, the houses and rooms look and feel great!
All in all, we are looking forward for occasion to return there.

The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. Brus is a picturesque town, and stores and restaurants are within minutes of walk.
Our time there was amazing. Aleksandrovac was a cute little town with friendly people. The place was very hard to find, but there is a yellow sign attached to a road sign on the left hand side, so just pay attention to that!
The family welcomed us, let us pick the rooms that we liked better. They offered us Rakia and snacks, took us to a wonderful local winery where we got a tour and tasting. They made us a delicious and memorable traditional serbian dish for diner. This place on its own made me love Serbia. I can't recommend it enough, and I would love to go back. Thank you very much!
