Really good Turkish breakfast somewhat quirky however, we had come back from a hot air balloon flight so it was more like brunch.
If you want access to Pamukkale you can not be closer, we drove up from Marmaris so it was good to have free parking. We went arrived mid morning and got a taxi to the north entrance and walked through the ruins to get to the pools, returning by foot to the hotel. The centre of town is just round the corner, we ate at Kayas Wine Bar really good.
We had come to Pamukkale for the hot air balloons that collect from the hotel the main reason we picked this hotel.
The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, try to get a pool view room not a road view.

Amazing reception by our new very happy and friendly friend! After a long hot day on the train, the pool was perfect and refreshing! Suggestions were given for food and we had a lovely time eating in the town during our stay. We met our new best friend "cinnamon" the cutest little puppy ever to walk this earth, hopefully if you visit this summer you will get see them! Breakfast was prepared at a perfect time to wake up and go to visit the sights. The second day he even went to the market for us to get some extra fresh food! Amazing hospitality by an amazing family. Great location, great area to chill during the hot sunny afternoon! Overall, 10/10, great pricing and amazing value!

I first went to Pamukkale in 1990 and I can not remember having to pay to get in only having to pay to get into the Roman Baths, which you now pay extra to swim in. I also remember that you could pretty much go wherever you wanted, sitting in the pools.
Now it is £30 to get in and the water has been diverted away from the natural pools to help keep people away. The only pools you can access are man made on the slope from the entrance or exit to town.
We had however, came for the hot air balloons which were excellent and I highly recommend.

Also had a great Turkish breakfast at a small cafe next to the tour office. Everyone was so friendly, I would highly recommend a visit

Pammukale is a must see.
Pammukale is a must see. One day and one night is just the right amount of time. The town is small but all the people were kind and helpful. I had a wonderful dinner on the front porch of Mom Eve Restaurant. Hilal, the owner, makes a great Cuba Libre.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area.
It is a very beautiful and peaceful area. It's a good idea to include Pamukkale on your Turkey visit route. One day should be enough.
Note: entry to access the thermal pools is expensive but covers a very large area. Consider knowing if they have water so you don't make a trip in vain.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting.
The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting. The rest was a huge disappointment. We were unable to see any similarity with the tourist promotion photos. The white thermal pools with blue water can barely be seen. Cleopatra's pool is a trap for tourists. Extra payment is required.
The thermal pools are artificial, slippery and full of tourists. We have to walk barefoot on aggressive flooring.
The entrance at the bottom next to the city is a mistake. It requires you to walk up barefoot for more than 500 meters on very harsh ground for your feet.
Venus Suite Hotel was the perfect choice for our stay in Pamukkale. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful village, which offered a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with stunning views of the PAMUKKALE landscape. Yunus, the hotel staff, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be returning to Venus Suite Hotel on our next visit to Pamukkale!
Everything was perfect! The decor in the room is simple, but everything looks dignified and clean. Each room has a balcony/terrace. Also in the bathroom there was a bath, which can be filled with thermal water. Quiet, calm hotel. Good breakfasts are served in the morning. A very nice man at the reception, who will give advices on places to visit. Free parking nearby. In 5 minutes there are many cafes, markets, shops. Karahait is a great village to live and visit.
Amazing owner Mr Mehmet and his wife. The hotel is walkable distance to the restaurants, markets and the pamukkale Thermal pool. Just behind the hotel is another famous attraction - the upside down house. What I like most is that Mr Mehmet is so helpful in many things. Finding best tour, transportation and affordable activities. Actually, he helps me alot and staying here is so worth it.
They very accomodating and friendly people.
Great pool. Excellent view of the Pamukkale Travertine Terraces from the 4th floor Breakfast Room; probably the best view. My room balcony also had a full and excellent view of the travertine terraces. Cold water was provided in our room. The bed was comfortable. Located just across the street from everything. We parked our car near the hotel and everything was a short walk away.
I have left my fleece in the hotel room and only realised after I moved to another city in Turkey.
The staff has been super helpful and generous to help me follow up everything, even we just stayed in the hotel for 1 night.
They found my fleece, helped me ship it back and kept updating me the status with very positive attitude. I’m so thankful. Thank you very much!
Basic no frill BnB close to Pamukkale thermal pools. The lady running the hotel is so sweet. Decent breakfast. Our family room was good size with 1 double and 3 singles and still had reasonable space. It was clean and the Aircon was working fine . . They arranged taxi for us both ways and the price and service was good. Recommended.
There’s many thermal hotel in Karahayit but you can not use spa facility 24 hours. Here in Ece hotel, you can use it whenever you want. This is the most advantage in this hotel.
Also the massage service (option menu) was really good here. This was the second time we visit and we are always satisfied with massage.
Venus was a great place to stay in Pamukkale. The rooms were excellent. We had dinner outside around the pool which was lovely. Breakfast was probably the best we had anywhere in Turkey. The manager organised a mini bus for us to get to our next town. Nothing was too much trouble.
Everything was very good , friendly and cooperative staff, allowed us to check-in before the scheduled time , arranged taxi for us at last moment when we were about to miss our next bus to Izmir
Breakfast was very good and best so far for us in Turkey, highly recommend it
Beautiful service, breakfast in the garden was the best in turkey! We easily walked to the town centre and visited Pamukkale. The room was extremely clean and had everything inc extra blankets and air conditioner. Loved our stay, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
It's difficult to find nice facilities in Pamukkale. Hotel Colossae Thermal is a good solution if you're planning to stay one night. The room was clean and the staff was accommodating. The location is nothing special, a bit retrò in style.
Staff was a family. Very friendly. They cooked dinner for a charge but very good price and taste for the cost. Nice pool and good clean facilities. AC and wifi. Absolute best hotel for the price in Turkey.
Pamukkale is a nice place itself, but this thermal hotel is an additional attraction. you can relax during the first day and then go to Pamukkale in the early morning to avoid crowds of tourists.
The building is freshly renovated, the rooms was very clean and spacious.
The owners are an old lovely couple and they where really kind and helpful.
So far the best hotel we tried in Turkey
Hotel ‘s near Pamukkale , we can walk to Pamukkale in the morning . Hotel manager ‘s kind , he suggest beautiful place to visit on the way to Antalya (Kaklık Mağarası & Salda lake) .
The breakfast is amasing, the hotel is a bit oldfashioned. We enjoyed the thermal water in the room. The garden with the pools is also relaxing, the place is quite close to Pamukkale.
It was comfortable, clean, tidy. Good value for money. A normal breakfast, you will definitely not be hungry.
Great place to stay when traveling by car in Turkey, Pamukkale!
One of the best stays I had in Turkey.
The staff was very helpful and informative.
They gave us a free upgrade also.
