The main reception is inviting, the Library is comfortable and the main staircase window is impressive. We were met by a very friendly receptionist who made our check-in very easy. The twin room was spacious, extremely clean and well appointed with safe, iron, tea & coffee making facilities along with Penhaligan products available to use in the bathroom. Breakfast was very well presented with an excellent variety of food available to suit all tastes.

Pool is warm & there is a sauna, steam room and gym Bar food was good and there was a wide selection of food at breakfast.

The bedroom was spacious, clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee options. the bathroom was also spacious and the shower was powerful. There was a wedding going on but my room was very quiet away from it all with stunning views. The setting alongside the river is beautiful and made for a really relaxing break. Great buffet breakfast.

The location is lovely and there was plenty of space and spots to relax in the evening. Interesting building and good to see the history of it included. Breakfast and the setting was very relaxed and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much for a delightful stay.
