    Beautiful, old, country feel to the pub. Lovely warm feel. Lovely decor. Bar/restaurant area was lovely, plenty of space. Could not fault the food, was lovely (evening meal and breakfast). Room was lovely and spacious. Lovely decor. Extremely clean. Would definitely stay again Staff were lovely, pleasant, and welcoming. 😊

    The staff were welcoming and helpful. There were a number of nice spaces in the pub for a drink and a meal. There were a good range of options on the menu with some interesting and unusual breakfast options. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Lots of parking available close to the room. Handy for a trip to Emley Moor and the Sculpture Park

    Quiet location and peaceful. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy. We booked the Little Badger Cottage for a relaxing post Christmas break in January and the property was everything we had hoped for. The personal touches on arrival (mainly the bottle of wine) were also appreciated. The owner even went above and beyond in posting a pair of earrings that my partner had forgotten to take home! Highly recommend property.

    Room was spacious and had all the facilities you'd expect, accomodation was a separate building to the pub itself which was nice. Can't fault anything about the stay, the breakfast was very nice and the staff were lovely. Me and my wife stayed here as friends of ours were getting married close by so only had the 1 night so can't comment on anything about the area.

    The room was really spacious and spotless. The curtains met unlike some hotels. The full English breakfast was great and set us up for the day. We were attending an evening wedding reception so did not have dinner.
