We stayed at the Woodstore for a short break before dropping our daughter off to her first year at University. An amazing house, spotlessly clean and perfect for a short stay. Very close to the beautiful city of Wells and its pubs and restaurants. The ability to use the pool and sauna was a massive plus after a day's touring. The welcome pack, which included treats for dogs and people was very welcome.

What I liked most was being in nature, having the sheep and horses grazing in front of me. Being able to get home at the end of the day and enjoy the view of the Tor and the silence of the countryside . The room was very comfortable for one person, with everything needed to make small meals, clean and well maintained.

Our kids loved the two futon beds in the attic of the room (an remodeled old barn), very cosy. The hosts, Rachel and Robert, are very kind and always helpful. The breakfast is selfmade, freshly according to everyone wishes, very delicious. There is enough parking space on the premisses. The room has properly working WLAN. It was all good and thanks for the daily dose of selfmade cookies! 😊

Home cooked English breakfast very nice and afternoon homemade cake and coffee served in the garden is a lovely treat. The rooms have been maintained to a high standard since our last stay. The hosts, Rachel and Robert are very helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. A great place to stay and a very relaxing atmosphere. We weren't rushed, our hosts were very chatty and friendly, and it was all very relaxed. On returning from our local hike, we were given some tea and wonderful cake outside in the garden, which was a super touch.

The separate mezzanine level in our room for our son. The lovely spacious bathroom. The fantastic hosts that can't do enough to please, homemade biscuits in the room, delicious breakfast, greeting us on our return from a day out, with tea and fresh cake in the warm, sunny pretty garden.joplymFamily with young children
