We had a booking in Agrigento but did not feel safe in the township so made a last minute booking for Hotel Villa Athena, a small luxury hotel set within an olive Grove in the valley of the temples. It was amazing from start to finish, customer focused, comfortable, amazing food and wine, and a front row view of the valley of the temples. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The owners Carmelo and Sarah are incredible hosts. Their attention to detail is above what anyone would ever expect for this fine fully renovated B&B. Their hospitality is unbelievable and much appreciated. The property is an absolute gem. The apartment is spacious, located at the first floor, over a commercial space. Access is on a spiral stair, steeply. Not ideal for people with physical impairment.. Beach is at 15 min of walking. Breakfast is Italian style, of course, is brought to the apartment in the morning. If you think something different you have to help yourself.

The whole property looked recently built/refurbished and has a pizzeria/restaurant as well as rooms with plenty of parking space. They couldn't do enough for us. The home was spotless with almost everything you needed. Very comfortable to relax in plus a great roof terrace - and what a lovely view! Very spacious and comfortable. I seriously can not praise this place enough! Lovely touch with the delivery of fresh breakfast treats. Easy parking outside on the street. Highly recommend it!
