Love the size of the room, very spacious and lots of mirrors which is handy for 2 women sharing a room to get ready. The pool was a lovely space. The food was excellent, we had lunch by the pool, pizza for tea with their pizza oven and breakfast, all great value and taste. Actually really impressed. All staff we encountered were lovely too.

The room was absolutely enormous. Great coffee facilities and some options available if you want to do self-catering. The whole complex is very charming and secure. Not a bad location if you wanted to go wandering into the city centre during the day.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the host was amazing. She went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. All the basic commodities were provided for. I also liked the strategic location of being close to the city center, which is literally a walk away I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting downtown.

Luxurious holiday apartment with well thought out design and decor. Location was fantastic with restaurants on your doorstep, easy access to the city centre and Shopping Malls and Airlink offices across the road. Host was quick and absolutely on point in his responses to any quires I had. Loved sitting on the balcony in the warm evenings overlooking the spectacular Windhoek sunsets. Highly recommended place to stay on visits to Windhoek.

Cute pool area, not big, but nice to cool off. Great pool table. Stayed there three times, once in a dorm, two times in (different) private rooms. The private rooms are great! Spacious, clean, comfy. The "lovebird" room was waaay better than the "meerkat" room though (same price). Private rooms were very! well equipped with a lot of outlets (also European outlets) etc. Good to meet other travelers! Good breakfast and good location - city Center is easily walkable.

Good location, very short walk to the city centre. The breakfast was basic but the quality of food was very good. Enough of a selection to keep most people happy. I had fried eggs and bacon each morning and it was prepared to order and very nicely cooked. The room was adequate but could have done with somewhere to hang clothes on hangers. At the end of the day you get what you pay for so it was value for money.

The hostel is in a good location which is a walking distance to the city center, it's inexpensive and ideal for low budget travelers, the staff are friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfortable. The chirping birds makes the place feels like an urban jungle. The kitchen is handy and it allows guests to connect while preparing their meals. I will always lodge at Chameleon Backpackers for as long as I will be in Windhoek. 😊❤️
