The view was very nice from our room. The building was newly renovated and clean. The room had a coffee machine and a washer, which was a plus. The beds were a new and comfortable.

Bäckaskog Slott is beautifully located between the lakes Oppmannasjön and Ivösjön. A monastery was built here in the 13th century and was later converted in to a castle in the 17th century.

How could one not love sleeping in a CASTLE!? Beautiful castle, furnishings, and grounds. The staff at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast in the stables was charming and tasty.
