This was simply exceptional, from the moment we arrived on the boat, right through our stay, to the time we left. We were simply mesmerised by the Island and by the hotel, and this stay is something we will remember for a long time to come. We stayed in a suite and the room was fantastic. The furniture was most comfortable and both it and the decor were very tasteful. The room temperature was always perfect and the views out to the garden were stunning. The bathroom was probably the best hotel bathroom I've ever experienced. In typical French fashion, the toilet is in its own room, while the bath, his/hers sinks, and shower, are in a different room. This latter part was spacious and modern, and all around great. The restaurant was great. The menu is simple, but was perfect for us, and not overly pricey. Hotel guests can access the museum free of charge. Its well worth the visit too. The island itself is fantastic. Though the review is for the hotel and not the island, it wouldn't feel complete without mentioning the island. The nature, the beach walks, the UNESCO site - all well worth taking the time to do or explore. Lastly, the staff were great. Very friendly and very helpful. I can't comment on the standard rooms in this hotel but I would recommend paying the extra to upgrade to the suite.

The owner of the place is an amazing person who bakes the most wonderful bread. The place is perfect if you are aiming for Utah or Saint-mere-Eglise. The breakfast was nice and the hotel is located in a very cozy old building.

Retour aux Sources is a B&B located in Gouberville, just 2 km from the sea. I was looking for something in Normandy close to the D-Day beaches and I wasn't really expecting much. However, I was blown away. The host Nicolas and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great - home-made yoghurt, local cheeses and fresh croissants. You could sense the history of the place. The villa was quiet and peaceful, the rooms were spacious and the bonus were the farm animals. I wish we'd stayed longer.

Located in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Domaine Utah Beach - Le Grand Hard is 5 km from Utah Beach and 40 km from Omaha Beach. It offers free Wi-Fi and a shared lounge with a fireplace. Very peaceful. Perfect for relaxing and romantic getaways. Located in a very beautiful countryside. Breakfast is perfect. Our dinners in the patio was so nice, we had all our dinners at the hotel. Staff is very polite and friendly as well. Definitely recommend this place.

Hôtel de la Marine features views of Carteret Port. It is just 10 metres from pier and offers a panoramic terrace. Free Wifi is provided throughout. Great location and facilities. Super-friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant.

It is an absolutely unique accommodation! I am currently travelling by bike and this place of pure romance has simply underlined my trip. There is everything your heart desires: - Very cosy bed - Starlink Internet - Digital radio - Hob - Television with Netflix and Prime Video - Coffee machine - A parking heater But especially a coffee in the morning outside on the boat with a view of the surroundings. I would have liked to spend a few days there.
