It was a wonderful stay, beautiful house in secluded area with a great view on Bastei formations. The house, rooms, staff, sauna and breakfast - everything was just great, and thoughtful details accompanied the whole experience. Danke schon

wonderful view on the mountains! comfortable and pleasant place! Clean. 3 minutes from railway station! 5 minutes to the ferry. They gave the tickets for the ferry for the whole period of stay. It is near the most beautiful places - Bastei Rocks . Nice different foot routes. It was a wonderful place to visit. The Bastei rocks looked amazing and very special. The Amselsee lake was peaceful.

Clean and comfortable room with very lovely decor and a great location for exploring Saxon Switzerland national park.

This is an attractive hotel in a good location with views over the river and a salt grotto. Manfred has owned the hotel for 35 years and has kept it up to a very high standard. He also operates a 24 hour reception which suited me well. Sadly I had to leave before breakfast.

The friendliness and location is great. The history is inspiring.

A beautiful, very clean apartment with comfortable beds, a fun living room, and a good kitchen. We really enjoyed it.

Very nice flat and well equipped kitchen. Nice view and close to train station. Host was very nice and worked around language by bringing his daughter translating. Right beside the Edeka supermarket.

It was sparky clean, tastefully furnished, easy to reach, and just overall a very nice place to stay. The host communicated well in English, showed me everything about the property and gave important info, such as nearby restaurants.

The property was clean, very cozy, and the location was perfect. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this place

Friendly welcome, tastefully decorated flat with good facilities and close to centre. We appreciated the selection of herbal teas and little bottle of sparkling wine, plus the ability to leave our luggage early.
