Very clean and cosy apartment with attention to detail. Everything felt fresh and new. Kitchen had everything one needs to prepare dinner (but unfortunately no dishwasher, it is only in the more expensive deluxe apartment). Parking was available on-site with no extra charge. Convenient base for exploring Blokhus-Løkken-Ålborg area with a car. The hosts very friendly and helpful. I liked the blinders in the room which allowed one to choose if they get to see outside a little bit or if they want complete isolation. There are two grocery stores right across the street. We went to Spar and it had a good selection of everything. Final cleaning is included but you are expected to wash the dishes you used before checking out. Decent value for money.

This unit exceeded our expectations! It was spotless, had everything we needed, and the surroundings were lovely. The location was perfect for traveling around. Classic Danish North Sea beach hotel. Beautiful setting on a high hill with views of the sea. Getting to the beach is a long walk (we drove our car). Great hiking in forests and grass covered dunes close by. Loved walking through the hotel's very large garden area where they grow a lot of their own food for their restaurant. Also many nice enclosed sitting areas in the garden. This hotel is best for people who enjoy walking and biking, nature in general, home-grown food. Rooms and hotel in general were very clean.

It was a good hotel with nice people with a high standard. It is more expensiv than other hotels (restaurant, stay, ...). The food at the restaurant was good for breakfast, lunch or evening. For the breakfast, they only could have changed the selection, so you can eat different things during a longer stay. One negativ point was there no jam at the buffet.
