The Gaia hotel is managed under an Italian Dominican couple. For us it was one of the best hotels we met here. Everything was super clean. Here you can see and notice the influence of European style and leadership. The junior suite was really great. The whole building is modern and stylishly furnished. It is located in a quiet and safe area in Puerto Plata. The room girls are absolutely great and do a perfect job. Breakfast was prepared every day with love and passion. There are also shops nearby. We can unconditionally recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone. We will come here again to this beautiful place of peace and coziness. Thank you Marina and Donino and the whole team for a few wonderful days.

We were welcomed and checked-in with Catalina, who was super friendly and nice. She even gave us some tips about the area. - The room was big and comfortable, and all amenities were working properly, specially the shower jet! They've got a reserved space for parking if you go on your own car, and this is locked during the night. Breakfast was super cool here, served in the villa's garden and homemade!

We loved it here. While the neighborhood, at a first glance, doesn't look the best/touristy, there were no reason to be afraid. Casa Azul is a very pleasant epicenter for all your travels. Clean rooms, absolutely everything – hangers, cabinets, fridge, tables, necessities, a washing machine with a place to hang everything to dry. Great part are the two terraces with a spectacular view of the city or the Isabel de Torres hill. Ofcourse Danielle, the owner, is the best part of the accommodation. She had many recommendations and tips, inside information, anecdotes and she spent one evening with us chatting The kitchen is fully stocked, including a water dispenser, missing nothing

Exceptional hotel. We stayed in five different places during our holiday on island and this one really dragged our attention. Very nice design, cosy and clean rooms with lots of small details which make your stay really comfortable like small fridge, wall hooks and shelves etc, guarded parking, English speaking stuff. We really recommend this place and appreciate the work which was done during renovation.

The furniture and amenities were very modern, and everything I needed was provided. The coffee machine, water dispenser, and air fryer were especially valuable. The bed and blanket were also very comfortable. The location is very central. Minutes of walking of everything, supermarkets, local eateries, ice cream, city centre, beach even a hospital is just around the corner. Safe to walk around. The internet is high speed and excellent to work. The hosts are very helpful and know Puerto Plata really well! The best part was drinking my morning coffee on the balcony with the view of the sunrise over the ocean! Don't miss this place if you come to Puerto Plata!
