AustraliaWe had the most amazing stay at Hacienda El Porvenir. It was just fantastic. The property is stunning. A beautiful farm house that instantly makes you feel like home. It is peaceful, calming and relaxing and we loved just sitting by the fire in the lounge room.
Our bedroom was lovely - the fire kept us warm and it had all the comforts we could want. We loved the hot water bottles as night - such a lovely touch.
The food was fantastic. Breakfast was amazing and the lunch and dinner choices were excellent.
So we really loved El Porvenir - but what made it even more special were the people. The front desk team were exceptional - Joanna, Matias and Raphael went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. They were incredibly helpful and personable and they made our stay extra special.
As did everyone else in the team - from the beautiful ladies who kept our fires going to the gentle,smiling ladies in the restaurant. The team at Porvenir are truly exceptional.

AustraliaI can't recommend enough! We only had one night after exploring Cotopaxi but I wish we had more to properly explore the area. The house was clean, all the amenities you could want and comfortable.
Frank and his family are amazing hosts. They made home made meals for us, told us about the area and we even got introductions to the animals from their gorgeous daughter!

Mateospaxi is such a lovely place to stay, it is very peaceful and comfortable with great facilities and is so close to several volcanos to go hiking.
Aracely is such a wonderful host, she really goes out of her way to make sure her guests feel at home.

Amazing place near the north gate of Cotpaxi NP. The stay here was a real treat, and we felt really spoilt by the wonderful staff (e.g. finding a fire already lit in our room when coming back in the afternoon). Organising the pick-up from Machachi and a tour into the park (with a great guide) worked very smoothly as well. Food was great too. We loved the view on Cotopaxi from the garden (when it sometimes emerged from the clouds).

Everything was perfect! I had a great stay here. The bed was super comfortable, big rooms, nice breakfast. The owners were super friendly, took me to a shop and dropped me off at a meeting point where I got picked up. Highly recommend! Hope to come back one day:) Muchas gracias por todo!

Amazing helpfull staff. Very comfortable and clean room with nice beds and a hot shower. The location is beautiful but there not really anything close to the accomodation. Would definitly stay here again.

Wow! Showing up here after traveling around and staying in more budget accommodations felt like a luxury! King size bed, fireplace in the bedroom, complimentary ponchos and a designer bathroom/shower! Gorgeous architecture and landscaping with many little walks around the property to view the mountains.
