Juan, the owner, was lovely, a proper Spanish gentleman, welcoming, and very friendly. The location was amazing, close to everything, and safe, secure parking on site was perfect. The hotel had 11th generation family history and was so interesting to see various historical artefacts. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The gardens and surroundings were pretty too

The apartment was spacious, very comfortable and fully equipped. It is right in the heart of old Astorga. We stayed one night and have no complaints. There was free, guarded parking near the hotel, but you have to climb some steps. So drop off your luggage at the hotel before you park the car. You can park on the plaza right in front of the hotel for 15 minutes. No problem at all. The apartment is about 3 minutes from the hotel and easily accessible with your key card.

Everything was as pictured. A wonderful luxurious stay. Bliss after a long hard hot walk. Roomy not cramped. Close to everything we needed.

Great albergue with a wonderful hostess. Very comfortable beds (with real sheets), and a bathroom like home. Patricia makes you feel at home - she even did my laundry (small fee). Wonderful pilgrim meal. Will stay there again.
