This is a very cool place. It’s outside Amurrio but if you are in the area it’s a great choice. Hotel is newish and charming and very comfortable, good ac, comfortable bed with good linens, adorable deck with lovely view, good bike storage. They served us a a casual but fine dinner in their restaurant nearby. It’s run by a brother and sister (and maybe a few other relatives) and they were friendly and interesting and kind to us. Very good value in a rural locale.

Wow, this apartment is incredible! I felt right at home and didn’t want to leave anymore. It’s got everything you need and more, with all the amenities, a full kitchen, and even coffee provided. It’s brand new and decorated with love, very clean, with strong AC and fast wifi. It’s located beautifully in the green valley and faces the river. The calming sounds of the river make for a great night’s sleep. Free parking is just around the corner. Bilbao is easily reachable by car in about 20min or slightly longer without the toll. Btw, you can leave the car at Park+Ride Etxebarri cheaply and it’s only a few minutes metro ride to get into the city center. The staff greeted me at the ticket machine and was super helpful to get the required metro card and later to pay for the discounted parking. Just be careful not to miss the last train back. I would definitely stay here again!
