Complete electrical outage in the whole country. No phones, no access codes, no way to contact the owner! HOWEVER, the whole village stepped in. One went to call the owner on a motorbike. The others brought food, the other made a fire inside to warm us up. The owner gave us LOTS of foods and drinks for free! Everything was super clean. We ended the night around a fire, with no contact to the world. Just the best experience that you can't buy anywhere else. In the morning, you open the windows and you hear the water flowing from the fountain, surrounded by all those stone houses. Teleported me right away to my grandparents' village!

Hotel, restaurant and bar Everything was excellent: the room, the big bathroom, the easiness a handicapped person can reach the room; the parking, the wifi ... Excellent food and how quickly it was done; the variety of the dishes. Even excellent was the possibility of choosing to eat in the bar (naturally cheaper) or the restaurant. Besides the fact of having everything in the same building was fantastic. I have never been in a hotel where we could eat breakfast any time (for those like us who like to get up later). Staff Starting with the owner, Maria José, it's impossible not to mention her kindness and availability, being always present to satisfy us, until the workers, always ready to satisfy our requests and to give good suggestions as well as beautiful smiles on their faces ... impossible not to remember here Albino and João.

We loved the house, it was beautiful, it had everything we needed for an amazing holiday, from the beautiful towels to every kitchen utensil you need for cooking, the owners have really thought of everything you need to have a home from home. The decor was gorgeous and very modern, with two shower rooms for a more comfortable stay to 3 air conditioned double bedrooms, there was nothing we could say we were unhappy with, we stayed for the whole month of August and our host was fabulous, informing us of events in the village to making sure we had everything we need, we loved this house so much we have booked to go back in December and for the whole of August again next year.
