It was very quiet and it had a nice garden with trees for shade. It is very spacious and light with a great view out to the mountains and over the valley. Lino was a great host and being from New Zealand and not being able to speak Spanish he helped us order food and arrange transport. He generously had a bowl of fruit for us too.

For context, my partner and I are walking the Camino de Santiago and booked this room last minute, just the day before. The property was great value for money. It was basically your own cabin equipped with everything you could think of . With comfortable beds and a very clean bathroom. The pressure from the shower was just perfect. I didn’t even want to get out of the shower it was so amazing. I didn’t need to wash my hair, but if I did, there was a hairdryer available. This felt like total luxury having stayed in a 14 bed dorm Albergue the night before. I think the bed was memory foam and it was the most comfortable bed I’d ever stayed in. There’s also an amazing pool that you can go and lay beside. And the day we arrived it was a perfect 22°. So this was like heaven after walking all day. I think this was the best place we stayed on the whole 14 days walking the Camino. Whoever runs the place thought of everything. I think there was even a scented candle. This is literally ideal for a couple . It’s located behind the back of what looks like an amazing restaurant which was sadly closed. The day we arrived. We did have to get a five minute taxi to the location as it is outside the city but for me it was worth that for this quiet peaceful piece of heaven. Also, there seems to be two of the cutest cats who are so friendly…

Dorma Vigo has a perfect location and very attentive staff! The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good, with an amazing view of the harbour.
