LatviaThe owners attitude was outstanding. So kind, helpful and fast responsive. Been there while the sky was clear and saw some mindblowing auroras, felt the real winter frost with constant -33°C and enjoyed the cabins warm coziness, and sauna too of course :). Our car also felt the frost and car's battery decided it's too cold to crank the engine (must remember to idle and warm the car couple times a day), so we had to call the owners, and Juho kindly helped us asap, and a lot, so we could continue our journey in time and no further plans had to be cancelled. Thank's again!!

Fishing cottages next to the river - amazing location. Slightly aging cottages so basic level accommodation, but exactly as it should be. Clean facilities in good shape. The guy working reception was super helpful in sharing tips for our way towards Varanger (Norway), it was a total surprise we learned a lot, also adjusting our plans based on that.

Excellent location and good warm place to stay. I really like those small huts with heating. How they can afford electrical heating in those, is beyond me. Maybe they own a solar farm too.

We loved loved that we got to have our own private flowing waterfront, wooden sauna, and the grassy clearing where I could just lay down and forget about everything. The hosts are very kind and everything in the cottage has been placed with care and attention to detail. We were also lucky to have really good weather! I wish we could stay longer :)

Lomatarrpi was one of the best accommodations I ever had. The landlord and host -Juha is a very pleasant, kind and helpful person -he made our stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.
The location was excellent - away from the town - walkable distance to the town though.
The cottage was heated, with a private sauna and well furnished. The "Aurora Tower" was icing in the cake.
Overall a very memorable stay
Highly recommended.

We stayed here in March. Utsjoki is stunning and this property is very comfortable, clean and has great views. Unbelievably gorgeous place. The staff is super helpful too. A special call out to Ilka and Issac for really good conversations and experiences.

My favourite place in the entire world! This is the 2nd time we have stayed and the last being in March 2018. The place and it’s surroundings are incredible and brings much needed peace to anyone.
