We loved the pool and the mini golf. Great activities for the kids in between all the castle’s sightseeing

Extremely nice and helpful people , very welcoming. Very nice and peaceful location, ideal to enjoy a long weekend in the nature and appreciate calmness and a nice walk in the forest. Very close to Amboise center and supermarkets, cafes etc. Highly recommended!

Super professional and friendly staff. A lot of attention to quality, local produces and offering a great experience. The food was delicious - the trout with almonds is much recommended. The bed was super comfy. Peace-of-mind to know our bikes safe in their local vélos.

The place is beautifully located with easy access to all castles. Fantastic owner even tool us to vinery and helped in many other arrangements.

Friendly helpful staff. Food store within 10 yards. Quiet and peaceful. Easy parking in the square next to it. Great convenience for Thierry Cosme Wine tasting 2 minutes drive away.

Katrina is your most valuable asset

Checking in was OK as we were too late for reception but we managed to find the 'house' that was to be our home for 10 days or so. On arrival we found that our room was an upper floor apartment and I have difficulty climbing stairs. However we managed and contacted reception next morning who arranged to move us to lower floor. As I had coped the previous night we decided to stay where we were but staff advised we could change if it became too much, Having a balcony was fantastic for watching the sun go down at night. It was close enough to local facilities for groceries and sightseeing trips with the Mini Chateaux on the doorstep.

Very clean and renovated hotel. The staff kindly upgraded me upon my arrival. Very friendly and kind staff. Lovely bathtub and large room. Highly recommend !

Excellent location in city centre

What a find! La Valette is in a perfect location, looking out onto the town square. The apartment has been decorated beautifully. It’s lovely and spacious with all required amenities. We loved it!

How magical to stay under the walls of the castle in a place full of character and history. The rooms were huge and the bed was so comfortable. There was massive shower. It was lovely having an evening drink on the terrace and then stepping out 2 minutes away from the centre of town

This is a beautiful apartment full of incredible artwork. Comfy beds. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Highly recommend.

Superb apartment, excellent location, fantastic balcony facility, plenty of room.

Great location, thoughtful hosts who left us cool water, wine and plenty of toilet roll, hand wash and toiletries. These things really make a difference to renting an apartment. Convenient free parking across the road and outside the apartment (if you can get a space).

The location and views from the apartment are fabulous.

It was clean and modern with a double en suite room and the second room with a double bed and bunk beds, again en suite. The front room was a good size with a well equipped kitchen. I really liked the place and we plan to use again.
