The hotel is situated on the top of a hill, with a panoramic view - roughly south - out over the countryside. The town centre of Aubenas is about 2.5 km away by car and takes less than 10 minutes to reach. It would be possible to walk into Aubenas (about 1.5 km), but due to the traffic and weather conditions we decided to drive. We found a parking space in the town in the evening without a problem. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, and the hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from our room was lovely, looking out towards Aubenas and the Chateau, and the breakfast room has a similar view. The hotel has ample parking space, and also an outdoor swimming pool which unfortunately we didn't have time to use. The bedroom and integrated bathroom were both roomy and well designed, and the shower was wonderful! All in all a lovely experience for us and we were only sorry that we couldn't stay longer.

We have stayed here 3 times now as a stopover en route through France.. it’s in a great location in a lovely little town. We ate in the restaurant (great value) and walked into town to a bar. Our room was 2nd floor and good value, clean and comfortable.

The manager couldn't of been more helpful. Food was excellent for a limited menu.

This property has an excellent location, just off the main square, meaning that although close to the action, it is comparatively quiet. The views are excellent. The historic buildings in the town are very impressive. Parking is away from the room but it is mostly free, but you have to search for it at the right time of day. The room has all the normal facilities. The bed is a comfortable double, but access is via a rather narrow and rickety set of wooded steps, which need attention? The balcony railing is fragile and a bit worrying?

The staff was really kind and easy-going, it even offered us beverages for breakfast not included in the reservation. We enjoyed the familiar vibes and the peaceful environment. Thanks a lot!

Start with the host Ramzi. Very helpful, and friendly. Then the apartment: beautiful appearance, very comfortable, had absolutely everything needed, complimentary items, personalised welcome including a rose for my wife! Clean neat bathroom. And the location! I don't think you could get any closer to the centre square!

An excellent facility for the price and would have no hesitation in booking again if visited Aubenas, however, this town is unlikely to be on a list for a repeat visit nor would I recommend unless with specific intent. A good place to rest while in transit to other places.
