The authenticity and stunning location in the often overlooked Sauternes Region with a true French family welcome which included a delicious classic 3 course dinner outside overlooking the vines. The room was large and well appointed with another stunning view and breakfast of warm croissants and bread direct from the boulangerie, fruit and coffee the next morning …the perfect start to the day. We will be back!

Lovely location, set amongst vineyards in a small village. Rooms comfortable, clean and cosy, and outdoor areas had plenty of seating options to enjoy the garden. Claire was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us lots of suggestions for eating out in the evening. Good breakfast in a lovely airy kitchen.

Breakfast very satisfactory. Because we arrived in the evening, surrounding restaurants were closed, so the host prepared a small meal for us with wine. Very kind to do that at 10pm. We had a great stay in an enormous room. The host also showed us around the Chateau next morning. It is clear he is very proud of what he is doing. My wife engaged in great conversation with hostess who is originally from Portugal.

Excellent location, Lovely garden to enjoy a breakfast. Hosts were very kind and provided everything you could ask for. I really enjoyed chatting with them during breakfast. They were able to give me the keys earlier in the day so that I could spend the evening where I had plan without interruption.

It was a beautiful old building superbly modernised inside. The passageways were well lit and attractive as was the lift. The room was delightful. I have never been so pleasantly surprised by a hotel as when I entered Première Pierre. The situation was so lovely, the village was gorgeous, and the bar/restaurant across the road, family run, was memorable for all the right reasons!
