An excellent auberge in a quiet rural location providing full board of an excellent quality.

Wonderful welcome from Boris and Socrate and a luxurious, generous breakfast with varied local produce. The best of the camino! The room is built into the cliff, on the site of the former chateau, so it is a troglodyte experience. The balcony has beautiful views of the current chateau and river Cele. Boris was very helpful with local information and good directions.

Great location and wonderful to have use of pool.

We had a wonderful Christmas in Cabrerets. The house is quirky and spacious. We enjoyed the sunroom on the first floor and sitting outside admiring the view and the starry sky. The village is absolutely beautiful and the local boulangerie cafe was open in December which was a nice treat. Sophie gave us great walking recommendations, so we did a local hike and visited Saint Cirq Lapopie. Thank you Sophie et Eric!

We spent a wonderful 3 nights in this beautiful part of the south of France. The gite was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Marie-Claire was a great host and provided us with lots of recommendations. The location was perfect, peaceful, beautiful with bakery and restaurants only a few minutes walk away. It was a great base for exploring the local area (e.g. visiting Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour, hikes and kayaking nearby). Highly recommend.

The location - a short walk to Saint Cirq Lapopie. The property was immaculate, everything was clean. I even had something fall and roll under the bed, and the floor under the bed was clean which is not often the case. The staff were kind and friendly, nothing was a problem.

What a fantastic location! Couldn’t be better. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Room was very cute. Breakfast on the terrace looking over the village will be a memory to cherish forever.

The bubble is a wonderful experience - though on our one night we saw a spectacular thunderstorm rather than any stars. The bed was large and comfortable and the shower room bigger than those in many hotels. Didier was very helpful when we arrived in torrential rain.

Beautiful location and property. Very peaceful location and easy to walk to the village. Sean and Julie are lovely; very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

What an amazing place this is. Beautiful accommodation with a pool and superb scenery all around. The hosts were so kind and helpful to us and really invited us into their family. We are walking the podiensis du Puy and enjoyed a break from the heat and time to relax. Thank you for all that you both did for us, we are very grateful. Definitely recommend this place to stay, it’s a must.

The most beautiful view that we have ever seen. Friendly staff. Excellently situated to open your window and see the 13th century well preserved magical little town. Take as many photographs as you can, the next morning the mist hides this gem. Only 10 people live there.
