Our stay at La Ville Es Riez Maison d’Hôtes was absolutely wonderful and, honestly, one of the most memorable parts of our trip in Brittany. The property is simply enchanting: peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by large outdoor spaces where you can truly relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the countryside. Our little boy was overjoyed when he discovered the rabbits and the goldfish in the garden — it immediately made the place feel magical for him. We were assigned a stunning room, decorated with incredible taste and attention to detail. One of the most special features was the lovely mezzanine area prepared especially for children, complete with toys and plush animals that our son absolutely loved. We also had a beautiful private veranda where we spent a relaxing afternoon enjoying the quiet surroundings. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous, elegant and spotless. Véronique and her husband are exceptional hosts: attentive, caring, and welcoming, but always with the perfect balance and never intrusive. We truly appreciated their kindness and genuine hospitality. A special mention also goes to their playful dog Tzar, who seemed to develop a very special bond with our little boy. Watching them interact created some genuinely funny and heartwarming moments that we will remember with a smile. The breakfast was simply the best we had during our entire trip in Brittany. Everything felt authentic and homemade: delicious yogurt, warm milk, fresh brioche, pain au chocolat, wonderful jams, and even cereals prepared for our little one. It was a fantastic breakfast experience and honestly the only regret is that we stayed for just one night. The location is also perfect, only about 10 minutes by car from Dinan. We highly recommend this beautiful maison d’hôtes and sincerely hope to return one day.

Location was excellent with easy driving access to Dinan and St Malo and many other beautiful, historic places and coastal walks in Brittany and Normandy. Our room was lovely and very comfortable with thoughtful touches, and the gardens were a great place to relax. Breakfast included delicious home made goods such as yoghurt, preserves, honey, breads and fresh juice - great start to the day. Best of all was the hospitality with good conversation, wonderful suggestions for excursions and recommendations for cafes/restaurants. On my list of places to return to!
