The location is excellent and the hotel standards are very high considering that hotel in small aegean islands normally are low. The staff is very helpful and provide you with all details needed.

I think words are not enough to describe this place. The calmness, the beauty, the scenery—everything is simply breathtaking. It’s so peaceful and relaxing that you can completely lose yourself in it. The only sound you hear is nature itself. The room was wonderful, especially the veranda. But what truly makes this place special is the hospitality. Ms. Marianna and Mr. Paschalis are amazing hosts. From the very first moment, you can feel their genuine warmth. They are easy-going people who love their island and their land, and they are always ready to provide you with anything you might need. I haven’t experienced such heartfelt hospitality in years. Absolutely worth it—100%!

5 stars only because we can’t give more! This little house is an absolute slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we felt an incredible sense of peace and tranquility. Waking up every morning to that view was simply unforgettable. The location is perfect — you can even walk to the beach if you feel like it. The house itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need, and even a few little extras you wouldn’t expect. You can really tell how much love and care the owners put into this place. Our host was amazing. He made us feel at home from the very first moment and was always there whenever we needed anything, without ever being intrusive. He welcomed us so warmly and took the time to explain everything we might need to know during our stay. Experiences like this remind you just how much of a difference it makes when someone truly loves what they do. The care, attention, and passion behind this place can be felt in every little detail — and as guests, you can’t help but feel it too. We left feeling like we had discovered a truly special place, taking wonderful memories with us… and even a lovely little gift from our host. ❤️ We couldn’t recommend this place enough, and we would come back in a heartbeat!

The studio was big with an amazing view. The family were so kind and the walk into Evdilos was fine. There is a well stocked mini market 10 minutes walk from the apartment

We were warmly welcomed with traditional sweets and honey from Ikaria. Even though we never met the owner, every day he would leave fresh fruit by the door; it was such a precious touch! We loved the view and spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony enjoying it. The nearest beach was almost always empty, so it felt like our own. The house definitely has more of a rustic vibe, like a family vacation home, but honestly, that’s exactly why we loved it! It perfectly matches the spirit of the island.

House of Light in Ikaria is a beautifully renovated holiday home, just steps from the port and beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t get enough of the stunning sea views and the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was also very welcoming, this is a good choice for a relaxing stay on the 🏝️
